Sky High Acres Apartment on Cooper Mt. is a private 2 acre estate framed by majestic Douglas Fir trees. 1200 sq. ft. of custom designed living space provides large windows to the private landscaping, gas fireplace, 55" TV, dining and pool table. Meals are easily prepared in the kitchenette or go to one of the many nearby restaurants. Also enjoy the expansive lawn area from the gas fireplace on the covered patio. **An additional queen bed is available in our Ford Conversion van for $60 a night**. The space The cozy, ambiance of Sky High Acres' 2 bedroom, 1 bath 1200 sq. ft. apartment provides a lovely home away from home. Set in a beautiful, natural environment atop the SE side of Cooper Mountain, this estate offers you escape, yet is close to exceptional restaurants, destinations and activities in the Willamette Valley and the city of Portland. Private guest parking, entrance, covered patio with gas fire pit, all in one level accommodations. This custom apartment includes a large kitchenette (Microwave, conventional oven with air fryer option 21.7"D x 14.6"W x 13"H, coffee maker, stove top) reliable wi-fi, 55" cable TV, ROKU and Netflix! If you need anything just ask us and we'll do our best to make you even more comfortable. Feel free to contact us, otherwise you'll have the accommodations to yourselves. We live on property and are available as needed, but don't share spaces with the guests. The home is in a private country setting a mile from shopping, dining and entertainment! You'll be close to Progress Ridge lake, restaurants, movie theater, bowling, grocery, etc. Ride your bike down to the lake and enjoy a meal or stay in and enjoy the beautiful setting here on Cooper Mountain. Our close, semi-country setting on Cooper Mountain does require a car to get here. Transit is available about a mile away if you choose that option to go to the city center of Portland. Parking is abundant downtown though. There are many options! For instance, take a wine tour and leave your car here! We can help you with your excursion planning. All the seasons are beautiful and varied here in Western Oregon and we provide the accommodations to enjoy them in comfort. Light the fireplace inside and play pool or go out to the covered patio and enjoy the fresh air and light the fire pit and snuggle under fleece blankets that are provided. Privacy and comfort are key elements of this custom estate. Additional sleeping accommodations for up to two people is available on property for $60 a night: 20 foot Ford Conversion van with down comforter queen bed, single sink, and 6 drawer clothes storage. Guest access The large lawn and landscaping in front of the apartment are all yours to enjoy during your stay! In the summer we share our vegetable garden produce with guests and our laying hens eggs 8 months our of the year if guests like. The upper driveway and back of the house are private areas. The hens are located in that area as well. Other things to note There is a notebook in the apartment with instructions for use of the amenities, departure directions and information about local restaurants and activities.
