Other things to note Directions: Departing from Salvador Airport (SSA), just follow the BA-099. Upon arriving at the entrance to Baixio, on the BA-400. The distance is around 130 km from Salvador, which makes a car trip last approximately 1h 30m to 2h. Don't rush, enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is also the option of taking the bus, departing from the Salvador Bus Station. Baixio is an exclusive destination located in one of the most popular regions of the North Coast of Bahia, the so-called “Costa dos Coqueiros”, just 30 minutes from the famous Praia do Forte.
