Sun-Kissed Villa is an immaculate, tranquil, spacious, beautifully furnished, 4 bedroom, 3 full bathroom, 1 half bathroom detached villa, with its own pool and hot tub, set in a large plot with enclosed, secluded, tropical gardens. There are stunning marble floors and exquisite wood ceilings throughout. The villa is located on the prestigious Barbados Golf Club and 5 minutes from Welches Beach and the famous Oistins Fish Fry. The villa comfortably sleeps a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children. The space High ceilings throughout the common area afford a light and airy feeling, assisted by the gentle trade winds, which help keep the villa nicely cool. There are ceiling fans in every room, as well as on the rear terrace. There is air conditioning in each bedroom and in the games room, kitchen, and dining area. The open layout of this single story property is ideal for multi- generational family holidays or groups of friends, with plenty of room for everyone. The villa offers a pleasing indoor/outdoor living experience with lots of relaxed seating and ambient dining on the rear terrace overlooking the pool and well-lit gardens; a striking backdrop to your evening dining and a wonderful outlook for your relaxed breakfasts, lunches and relaxing days lounging around the pool, terraces, and lush grounds as you listen to the water cascading from the hot tub into the pool. POOL, GROUNDS & GARDENS: Set on a half of an acre attached to the Barbados Golf Club, the carefully tended, tropical gardens surround an attractive, well maintained swimming pool and hot tub, with sun loungers, tables and chairs. Umbrellas and the palm trees provide shade when you need to take a break from the sunshine. Keep an eye out for the monkeys who often pass by! The grounds are fully enclosed. Access controlled gates and cameras, together with all-night 360 degree security lighting provides that extra peace of mind. The front yard is enclosed with parking for 3 cars. Additional parking is available on the street in front of the villa. WELCHES BEACH: Crystal clear Caribbean water can be found within a short 5 minute drive. This quiet beach often will feel as though it is private. OISTINS: Barbados’ best party and cultural event takes place just a quick 5 minute drive away in Oistins every Friday and Saturday night. Hundreds of people gather for the Friday fish fry, a local institution that sees young and old gather to eat fried or grilled fish, listen to live music, dance, chat and play dominoes. You can also buy fish to cook at home from the fresh fish market that is open daily. BARBADOS GOLF CLUB: Barbados Golf Club has become the soul of golfing in Barbados for local players as well as hotel guests and visitors cruising through the Caribbean. The course was approved and sanctioned by the PGA European Tour to host a PGA Seniors Tournament in 2003 and it has also hosted the Barbados Open on several occasions. The golf course was reopened in 2000 after a period of reconstruction to the environmentally sensitive design specifications of Ron Kirby, one of the most respected and experienced golf course architects in the world. He redesigned the course to produce a fair, challenging and a pleasurable game for golfers of all levels of skill and competence. The challenges, rewards and scenic views of the course encourage players of all abilities to play with determination to hone their skills while enjoying the company of friends amidst tropical surroundings. BEDROOM DETAILS: PRIMARY BEDROOM has a king size bed, AC unit, large walk in closet, a digital safe, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and oversized tub. The reading nook and windows overlook the pool and lush gardens. SECONDARY BEDROOM has a king size bed, AC unit, built in closet, digital safe, and an en-suite bathroom with a stand-up shower. The windows overlook the enclosed lush gardens. THIRD BEDROOM has two US sized single beds that can be converted to a king size bed, AC unit, with a built in closet and en-suite bathroom with a stand-up shower. The windows overlook the lush gardens. BUNKBED ROOM has two US sized single beds. The room has an AC unit and is perfect for two children or teens, or one adult. The window overlooks the pool area. BATHROOM DETAILS: There's plenty of solar heated hot water, provided by two large twin tanks. Three of the full bathrooms are en-suite, with the Queen Bedroom offering a second door in the hallway to the bathroom if you choose to share this bathroom with the Bunkbed Room. There is also one powder rooms off of the living room. A hair dryer, scale, and magnifying mirror are available for use. We supply toilet paper, hand soap and bath soap for your arrival. LIVING ROOM: A wonderfully light and airy space, with doors opening to the front yard and pool area. This space provides ample seating and a Samsung 65-inch UHD TV with Netflix. KITCHEN/BARBECUE: The kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances including a multi-function double electric oven, electric stovetop, large double-door refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, Keurig coffee machine, blender, and toaster. There is a washing machine and dryer for guest use in a nook off of the kitchen. The dining room is connected to the kitchen and opens onto the large terrace. There's a large multi-burner gas barbecue on the rear terrace with a large outdoor picnic table. Multiple fans and great lighting provide a beautiful space for outdoor eating just off of the kitchen, games, dining and living rooms. GAMES ROOM: A bonus area provides added fun with a foosball table and sideboard full of games. The doors open onto the large terrace that leads to the pool. STAFF DETAILS: Housekeeping by our lovely housekeeper is offered every 5th day and can be arranged daily or as needed for an additional cost. Gardening is offered once every two weeks. The pool and hot tub are tended to once a week. There is a pool net and pool vacuum available for use as the pool is set in the lush gardens and hence may have a few leaves between servicing. As the villa and grounds has lots of space, the presence of discrete Sun-Kissed Villa staff should never impinge upon the feeling of guest privacy. Our property manager is on hand at all times for any enquiries you might have as is the owner. GUEST ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES: Check-out is 11:00AM and check-in at 3:00PM. We aim to work with individual needs of guests and will try to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. Additional fees may apply. HOUSE RULES: Sun-Kissed VIlla is primarily a family place and regrettably we do not rent to groups under 30 years old, permit parties or gatherings without express written prior consent, or allow overnight guests.
