Donner Lake A-frame Cabin with a view

Cozy, classic and updated A-frame features a view of Donner Lake, a quiet neighborhood, and thoughtful modern updates making it the ideal place to unwind and enjoy all that Truckee has to offer! PLEASE NOTE: There are TIGHT STEEP STAIRS INSIDE OF THE HOME, as well as STEEP STAIRS OUTSIDE to get into the home from either entrance. WINTER - 4WD & CHAINS REQUIRED. We have the driveway plowed professionally and you will be responsible for shoveling the stairs and deck during your stay. The space The living room offers sweeping views of the lake, with ample seating that opens directly to the kitchen and dining areas, as well as walkout to the spacious deck. We have an outdoor living room space with plenty of room to lounge, eat and relax. Note: there are tight STEEP STAIRS up to the second level (where the 2 main bedrooms are), not ideal for young children or anyone with physical limitations. Guest access You and your guests will have full use of the full home, parking, and patio. WINTER: 4WD and chains required - steep and icy conditions may exist. We offer high-speed Wifi, fully stocked kitchen and everything you need to relax and enjoy your time at Donner Lake! NOTE: there are STEEP STAIRS inside of the home, and outside of the home to get in from either entrance. Other things to note There are 2 full bedrooms, the third bedroom offers a twin bed with a full desk for a perfect office for working remotely. Please note there are steep/narrow stairs going up to the second floor, not recommended for small children or please use the gate provided to block the stairs at all times. STEEP STAIRS to get upstairs. Main bedroom has a window A/C unit. other rooms have fans and windows. We find it typically cools off at night for open windows or some love the A/C for the few summer heat or smoke that can occur. There is one main source of heat in the living room that heats the home; there are also space heaters available in the bedrooms to ensure comfort during the winter months. NOTE: there are STEEP STAIRS inside and outside of the home. Please consider this for all of your guests before booking. We don't want you disappointed or that we receive a bad review due to the shape of our lovely little A-frame cabin.
