Pentwater Pines Cabin- a wooded retreat

Welcome to our beautiful cabin in the woods- the perfect 'Up North' retreat for families who want beach & nature! You can comfortably sleep multiple families with plenty of privacy & kid friendly setup. The cabin is set in the perfect location, minutes from downtown Pentwater & Mears State Park. It's walking distance to Bass Lake (boat launch), close to Lake MI access points, and nearby Silver Lake & Ludington.Unwind and grill out on our wrap around deck, soak in the hot tub, or have a campfire. The space The cabin is 3 floors- a walkout basement (lower floor) with a bedroom, full bathroom (bathtub), main area (with 2 beds), and laundry space. There's a set of stairs taking you to the main floor, which has the master bed, bath, another bedroom with bunk beds, kitchen, main rooms, and walks out to the deck. The upper floor is a loft with a queen bed, twin, and half bath. Enjoy nature at it's finest by grilling and dining out on our newly updated wrap around composite deck, or soak in our brand new hot tub (2024). Relish in the white pine view while having a campfire outside, or enjoy the wood fireplace inside for those cold winter months. Need to get a little work done? No problem. We have multiple working spaces with desks, and high-speed wifi. The cabin is outfitted with 3 SmartTV's. We have a pack and play crib that can be setup anywhere, and a small crib mattress that can be used for kiddos. The cabin is a destination in itself, but is a great location, close to Pentwater, Ludington, Silver Lake and more. If you want the woods and beach, this is your place. Guest access You can walk to the Bass Lake boat launch, and are about a 5 min drive to several lake michigan beach areas. You're very close to US 31 highway, but in a secluded area. Other things to note COVID-19 UPDATE: We are committed to cleanliness by agreeing to uphold AirBnb's five-step cleaning protocol before each stay. -There is a hot tub and grill available for use -There is a fire pit outside and a wood burning fireplace inside. Please bring your own wood and follow designated rules. -Wifi available. -2 Smart TVs - one on each main floor room, and one DVD player. No cable but Netflix and other smart apps. -Washer/Dryer available for use as needed. Kid friendly: We have a pack n play crib, rocking chair, baby bathtub, high chair and booster chair available for use. House has some kid proofing with baby gates, kitchen safety latches and outlet covers available. There are kids toys, puzzles and books. Kitchen: fully stocked with coffee maker, dishwasher, crockpot, griddle, wok, and dishes to feed 8-12 people. Linens: Bath towels and sheets/bedding provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Pet Policy: Pets are allowed with a $30 fee per pet. No more than 2 dogs during a stay. Please disclose that you'll be bringing a pet before booking, and leave the payment in the cabin upon departure. We allow the pets on the lower basement walkout level, but ask you keep them out of the main 'upper' level & loft, and keep the stair gate shut. We also ask you pick up their waste and not leave them unattended outside on the property. This is the perfect location! You are sitting right in between several great MI beach towns and treasures! -Lake MI: local beach access: 1-2miles/ 5min drive (directions in manual) -Pentwater: 3miles / 5-10min -Charles Mears State park: 3.6miles, 10min drive -Ludington: 12.5 miles / 20min -Silver Lake Sand Dunes area & State Park: 18miles / 20-25 min -Mac Woods Dunes: 19miles / 25min -Ludington State park: 19miles / 25min -Big Hart Brewing Company: 12mile / 10min -Biking: Hart-Montague trail nearby (accessible via Hart, just 15min away) There's a gas station and small convenience store just outside the neighborhood where you can grab snacks, and they also sell firewood.
