Welcome to Chez Melet! This 4 bedroom home located in a golf course community with a Private swimming pool is perfect for a family getaway. Be sure to enter the correct number of guests when booking. The space Please ensure that you’ve entered the correct number of guests when booking! The house sits on a landscaped property with a large private salt water swimming pool (that has just been updated) and a golf-course view. The interior has wide-open spaces that creates an airy feel, but has sufficient closed off areas so that privacy is not sacrificed. The house is decorated to be warm and inviting for relaxation and comfort. There are two fireplaces, one in the family room, the other in the master bedroom. Downstairs- The downstairs area has two living spaces, a formal living and dining room and an informal living and eating space that opens into the kitchen. The informal space also opens into a four season glassed sunroom and the backyard with the swimming pool and deck. Backyard- There is a private saltwater swimming pool surrounded by a large deck. The deck is decorated with beautiful plants and furnishings that include a canopied daybed, lots of seating and oversized umbrellas. The rear portion of the garden leads to a golf course, but the landscaping assures privacy. Master Bedroom- the master bedroom is visually stunning with vaulted ceilings, an elegant silver wall treatment and heated travertine floors. The adjoining bathroom has an oversized travertine shower with FIVE shower jets and heated bathroom floors for a perfect spa-like experience. Queen Bedroom - This room has a tranquil decor and has lots of storage space as well as a reading nook, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Overlooking the backyard it has a gorgeous view of the swimming pool. Queen Bedroom 2 - This room is newly updated with fresh modern decor. This room also overlooks the pool. Loft Single Bedroom - Doubling as a living or work space, this loft bedroom has the added flexibility of providing your group with an upstairs living space or work space in addition to a bedroom space. This room overlooks the living room — pay attention to photos of this room, it may not be suitable for young children. Guest access Guests have access to the most of the home, including the bedrooms listed, the living room, family room and kitchen. The rear portion of one of the master bedroom closets ( this area will be locked), the storage areas of the house (apart from bedroom closets) and garage is not included in the guest access. The pool is our private pool and guests have unrestricted access to it, but that access might be shared when necessary for maintenance. Other things to note NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS/VISITORS ON PREMISES - Please double check and ensure that you’ve booked for the correct number of people. No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed for any period of time without written permission and there is a maximum of sixteen people allowed as a combination of guests/visitors that is strictly enforced. Fees will be assessed for unregistered guests or visitors will be assessed if found on the premises without permission or over occupancy and will be asked to vacate the property immediately. BEDS- Please pay attention to the types and locations of the beds. This space sleeps 8 in “real” beds. People may also sleep in common areas in a combination of air mattresses, sofa beds and couches. FILMING - Request permission before booking if any filming or unregistered visitors are planned. Our stated maximum of 16 people will be strictly enforced. Any unauthorized filming or other event will be terminated and a fee of $5000 will be assessed in addition to being forced to leave. ANIMALS - Pets require disclosures in advance and payment of pet cleaning fee of $50/pet. No animals (including service, assistance or support animals may remain on the premises without a guest. Remember, you are responsible for any damage done by your animals (including service, assistance or support animals). PARKING - There is space for 4 cars in the driveway. Our county limits the number of vehicles that can be parked outside a residence, so guests must respect those rules. SWIMMING POOL- Is open between April through Labor Day, though depending on the weather the availability may be extended. SMOKING - Smoking is permitted ONLY on the exterior of the premises, not inside the house or sunroom at anytime. Cannabis usage is not legal in Georgia and not permitted inside the premises. Tobacco smoking only is permitted in designated areas specified and only if the quantity of smoke is such that the smell of smoke doesn’t filter inside Smoking fee for cleaning and treatment of interior in the amount of $500 will be assessed for smoking inside. FLORA and FAUNA - This is a heavily wooded area, so it’s impossible to insulate oneself completely from the animals, insects etc that live in them. Please keep all doors closed and only open windows if the screens are in place. Deer, coyotes and foxes frequent the area, so please keep close all exterior gates closed at all times. We have a pest control service that focuses on the properties’ perimeter to control spiders, mosquitoes, water bugs, stink bugs etc. If you see a dead bug, it’s normal - it means the pest control is working. However, if you see 3 or more live bugs inside, please notify me immediately so we can have pest control re-treat those areas. SAME DAY RESERVATION REQUESTS - We generally require at least one day’s notice before the start of the reservation. However, is a reservation request is made on the same day as check in we require at least four hours before you may arrive at the property. You must read House Rules in its ENTIRETY before booking and guests are required to sign a rental agreement before access is granted.
