A small but cozy bungalow on a quiet property bordering a state park. Explore river towns along the Delaware including Frenchtown, New Hope and Lambertville. FRESH BAGEL DELIVERY included on first morning. It offers private parking (next to front door), EV charger for electric vehicles, QUEEN-SIZE bed, kitchenette and heated floors in bed & bath. Take a morning walk along the canal, enjoy a quiet dinner outside at the table for two, then end the night relaxing by the chiminea. The space Our 450 sq. foot guest bungalow is compact and minimalistic but can comfortably accommodate 2 adults. It’s perfectly situated between the Delaware River and Delaware Canal. Our intent is to create a relaxing environment where you can unwind and decompress during your stay. Begin your day with a cup of coffee on the sun-filled deck before exploring the many river towns. The bungalow is minutes from dining, breweries, art galleries, shopping, hiking and more. You may hear us and our dogs arriving or leaving the main residence at times, however, we always strive to be as quiet as possible when guests are here. A few highlights... - private entrance - private 2-car parking - EV charger for electric vehicle - private fenced-in backyard - gas grill for BBQ - fire pit (1-night of firewood included) - outdoor dining area - stovetop in kitchen - microwave, toaster - french press, moka pot, pour over carafe - drip coffee maker - refrigerator - washer/dryer inside bungalow - all towels, sheets, linens included - flatscreen television - wifi access - 3-5 minute walk to canal path - 10-15 minute walk to lake - heated floors (bed/bath) for winter stays INCLUDES CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST: The bungalow kitchen is always stocked with items to make a quick breakfast, including: - orange juice - frozen fruit (for smoothies) - yogurt (dairy or plantbased) - granola - oatmeal - butter (dairy or plantbased) You will also find: - coffee (organic & decaf options) - tea (loose leaf and packaged) - a variety of sweeteners - a variety of creamers NOTE: Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences (ex: gluten free, no dairy, nut allergy, vegan, keto, kosher, etc) so we can stock your breakfast items according to your needs. FRESH BAKERY BAGELS: There’s also an option to have fresh bagels and cream cheese (dairy or plantbased) waiting on your doorstep the morning after your ‘first night’ stay. *Sorry no gluten free options available. *NOTE: if you’d like them delivered a bit earlier or later, fill out a card (on fridge door) to choose your time (place into bagel bag). The bagel delivery is available anytime between 7:30 and 10:00am. Note: If no specific time is chosen, the default delivery time is 8:30am. *During winter months, to insure you receive your bagels ‘fresh and warm’ let us know best time for delivery. FOR DOG OWNERS: We do allow (up to 2) dogs in the bungalow (sorry no cats at this time), however, they must be kept with you at all times (unless you bring a crate with you for them to stay in while your out). PLEASE keep dog(s) on leash at all times (when on the property) because our cats go outside for an hour or two each morning. NOTE: there's a list of hiking trails and dog-friendly outdoor dining spots inside the doggy basket (below tv). You can also explore all the river towns with your dog but they must be on leash. There's a designated pet waste station (with bags) in the backyard and at the trail head (attached to large tree, just beyond gravel parking pad in side yard). Grab a bag at the start of your walk and drop at the waste station when you return. If you want to walk your dog along the canal, there’s also bags in the metal container in your private fenced-in yard (on wall behind Adirondack chairs). Guest access Guest self-check-in with keypad. Guests have full, private access to the bungalow and fenced-in backyard. As well as the entire parking area in front of bungalow. Other things to note We provide a 'Welcome Book' with details and instructions on everything you'll need to know about the space, like wifi, EV charger or where to find the heating thermostats. Please be kind to our septic system: In bathroom, only flush toilet paper. In kitchen, there is no garbage disposal. Please put food scraps in trash (located in cabinet across from sink).
