Description
A small and airy cottage, set into the hill just above Crackington Haven. Splendid views of the sea, summer sunsets and a native wooded valley from the balcony or gardens, and plenty of living space for two to enjoy. An off-road track winds down towards the beach, pub and two cafes, with easy access to woodland walks, the SW coast path, and an interesting network of other parish footpaths to explore. The space The cottage has the main living room on the first floor, to maximise the views out over the woodland valley and sea, with access through the full length sliding door to a spacious balcony, with plenty of space for sitting and dining - and fantastic for a clear night's stargazing too! The bedroom, with king size double, bathroom and full kitchen, with a small seating area for indoors eating if the weather isn't good, are downstairs on the floor level. From here there is level access outdoors to a small courtyard with a further dedicated sitting and eating area and surrounded by the views and prolific gardens of the main house. Guest access Private and off-road hard standing area right next to the cottage for parking. There is a bus-stop down at the Haven which gives access to a coastal and other bus services. Quite popular (for energetic guests) is catching a bus to Boscastle, or perhaps towards Bude, and walking back to the Haven along the coast path. The beach is only 300 metres away. This, and a lovely woodland walk, can be accessed direct from the cottage via a track, running safely off-road and linking with both the Haven and other numerous local footpaths.
