Perched on a cliff overlooking the best sunset views from Lookout Mountain, sits the famous "Shangri-Little", from the hit show, Tiny House Nation! We created this luxury tiny house experience to give you the best sunset, the best sleep, and an incredible connection with nature. Our secluded location is just off of Scenic HWY, in close proximity to all of Chattanooga's coveted outdoor adventures! Rock City, Ruby Falls, and Cloudland Canyon (Waterfall Hikes) are all within a 10 minute drive! The space Shangri Little was built as one of the first tiny houses in the state of Georgia! It was certainly the first tiny house built with 3 stories! A rustic-modern log cabin on wheels, with spanish cedar, american red cedar and pine accent an amazing organic aroma. 12 windows wrap this house, making you look outside at every angle. Open them up for a nice breeze to go to sleep or just forget the AC/Heat, and let nature keep you cool! A hobbit door leads you outside to a small french deck that becomes a rooftop yoga lookout! Instant hot water heater gives you that long needed shower, a comfort height flush toilet, and a sink to finish the most cozy bathroom experience. We have an apartment sized fridge, coffee maker, 2 burner stove, convection oven and plenty of space for food prep for your cooking! The living room is my favorite part of the house, as a comfy couch is positioned in front of a glass lookout that faces the sunset, 2000 feet above sea level, overlooking the valley. Wake up for breakfast at the local's favorite "Pat's Place" just a short drive down the road, and ask for the "Tiny House Special!" On the same block is one of Chattanooga's best kept secrets "The Canyon Grill," a shed with 5 star dining, incredible prices, and extremely hospitable servers. They are open Wednesday through Sunday from 5-9. We have a little gas station and convenience store for your immediate needs. Otherwise, the Mountain is a very calm, quiet, and serene place for you to relax. You will feel on top of the world! We have a VIP parking spot for each listing, and a few extra spots along a right of way in case guests have multiple vehicles. We are located right off Lookout Mountain's Scenic Highway and are literally 3 turns from downtown Chattanooga! Guest access The best view is of our sunset cliff with an incredible 180 degree view of Lookout Valley. As our whole retreat is designed around enjoying nature and community, we have a central fire pit, where friendships are cultivated and great memories are made. At 2,000 feet, we do sometimes have inclement weather, that is best enjoyed inside, while the outdoor activities take a rest.
