Perfect getaway in this lakefront 2BR/2BA home! Private dock available for your use to enjoy year-round fishing and boating. Explore the quaint town of Clarksville, just 10 minutes away by water or road. Pet friendly. Canoe available for your use! This lakefront house is the perfect retreat for couples, small families, and fishermen! Full functional kitchen, spacious bedrooms, comfortable living and dining rooms and a large screened porch for enjoying view. Fire pit, private dock with canoe, two full bathrooms and laundry room. There is WiFi in the home and rokus on most of the TVs for you to sign in to your favorite streaming apps. We get a few channels through the antenna and we have a DVD player with a large collections of dvds. There are also board games and of course the lake! There is a charcoal grill on the porch, you will need to provide charcoal. Guests have access to the entire house, yard and private dock. I am available by text, call or Airbnb message. Please don’t hesitate to reach out! There are great state parks in the area for hiking, like Occoneeche Park. There is also a splash park there for the kids! Grab a beer at Buggs Island Brewing or Ice cream at the Cottage Barn. Take a trip to Three Sisters of Shiney Rock Winery for a relaxing day. Of course, enjoy the lake by boat, private dock or our canoe. The best way to get around is by car. The Army Corps of Engineers owns and manages the Shore of Kerr Lake. Their property begins at the tree line in the back of our yard. They allow us to use their path to get to our dock, use at your own risk. Guests accept that due to the management of the lake by the Corps we cannot guarantee the path to our dock will be accessible by foot and / or our dock will be accessible by boat. Please check the Kerr lake website for lake levels and general information about the lake. It might be helpful to bring water and/or non-slip shoes for walking down to the lake and walking in the lake, it is rocky! Please enjoy our canoe. Life jackets and paddles are in the laundry room, if you use our canoe you have agreed to wear a life jacket. The maximum capacity for the canoe is 3 people. Please put the canoe back at the edge of our yard (at tree line) turned  upside down so water does not collect in it. Please hang life jackets and return paddles to the laundry room. You are welcome to tie your boat to our dock, please let us know if you plan to do that. The Bluestone Landing public boat launch is 5 minutes away. Please note it costs $5 to use the ramp, there are envelopes there for payment. We hope you catch lots of fish, but please DO NOT clean them inside the house. There is a fishing cleaning table on the patio downstairs as well as an outdoor hose and 5 gallon bucket for your use. There are also sealable bags for fish waste. We have private trash pick-up on Thursdays, please roll the bin to the street on Wed if you are there. We also provide large kitchen trash bags, large heavy duty black bags and fish waste bags. There must not be any bags of garbage or trail of fish waste left anywhere at the home or you will be charged an extra $100 trash disposal/cleaning fee, we apologize for this inconvenience. Please enjoy our fire pit. We ask that you please be careful and protect our natural areas. You may pick up and burn any of the loose wood in the natural areas. No cutting of live trees is allowed by the Army Corps of Engineers. Make sure area around the fire pit is clear of leaves and other combustibles. If it has been exceptionally dry, make certain there is no current burning ban on the Clarksville town website. Please control the size of the fire, smaller is better. Burn only wood based items. Do not leave the fire unattended. When finished, please stir and douse using rake, shovel and bucket provided. We thank you for your cooperation. We have local channels available on the living room tv by antenna. There are rokus available on most TVs where you can sign into streaming services with your own credentials. There is WiFi available for use. We have 4 cameras outside of the house. One is in the front yard facing the house. One is on the shed facing the back of the house, one is on the shed facing the lake and one is on the bottom of the deck facing the backyard. There are no cameras inside the house, except for one in our private storage room housing our hvac and water heater.. Dog guidelines We love dogs and are happy to have them in our rental. With that said we do have several guidelines we would like for you to look over and agree upon before we agree to have them stay with us. Please tell us about your dog before booking. What type of dog, behaviors, how many dogs you would be bringing, and so on. We are unable to host guests with puppies under 6 months of age. We charge $25 per pet, per stay for an extra cleaning fee. We might charge more if you have a large breed that shed more than most. With dogs in the rental it takes us a longer amount of time to clean. Making sure the house is free of dog hair, slobber, and so on. We take pride in making sure our rentals stay clean for other guests.
