Casa Stanley Studio

Sunny, studio apartment with Sawtooth Mountain & Valley Creek views. Kitchenette with a small refrigerator, two burner stove, coffee maker, all dish ware/cookware. The Studio is on the second floor with a private entrance. Queen bed and a futon couch/bed, a dining room table and four chairs and a full bathroom. All linens provided. The Studio is private, quiet and has great access to the Valley Creek Preserve and is in the International Dark Sky Reserve. Check in at 4PM and check out by 11AM. The space Large, sunny studio with mountain and creek views. Very private and very quiet. Small but user friendly kitchenette, full bathroom, three large closets for luggage and gear, small exterior deck large enough for a few chairs. Futon couch/bed and a queen bed, dining table and four chairs. All linens provided. Please do not rent this studio if you are planning on spending your time cooking or baking as there is a small toaster oven, a small refrigerator, a two burner stove and a microwave and some kitchen gear. Camping is not allowed within the City of Stanley limits so please don’t ask to pitch a tent in the yard or sleep in your RV/car because the answer is always the same! Stanley’s elevation is 6260 feet and it can be warm by day and cold at night. There is heat (of course) but there is no air conditioning. There is a fan in the unit and the temperature drops as soon as the sun sets so it shouldn’t be an issue especially if you close the blinds and windows during the heat of the day. Guest access The studio is a stand-alone unit - you have your own staircase and entrance separate from the main home. The main home is occupied by the owners. The studio is a separate unit and the rental of the studio does not include access to the deck or porch. If the stand-alone unit is not going to work for you please consider alternative rental options for your stay in Stanley. Other things to note The Studio and home are located on Valley Creek and there is fishing access and swimming right from the backyard. Studio guests are welcome and encouraged to use and enjoy the water from the backyard.
