A perfect getaway spot located in Dunes City, OR, next to Siltcoos lake, 5 minutes walking distance from the Dunes, and a 10 minute drive from the beach. Complimentary Organic Coffee & Tea provided. Even though you might only be renting a room, please consider yourself more than welcome to make full use of all the amenities. I have a panini maker, waffle maker, blendtec blender, soda-stream, ninja coffee maker, and full kitchen. In the fenced-in backyard there are blackberries & blueberries (seasonal), a firepit & BBQ. I have 2 other rooms available to rent in this home and as such you may end up bumping into other guests in the common areas. I have an ocean kayak (1 person), a canoe (2 person), and a drift boat (easily seats 3) available for rental. The Siltcoos trail begins less than a mile away from the house. This outlet leads from Siltcoos lake and empties into the ocean. It is a very easy float and perfect for any level of boater and is one of my favorite things to do in the area. I often see otters, great blue herons, white egrets and snowy plovers. I offer pick-up & drop off as well as guiding service if needed. Please let me know if interested! During your stay I’m currently working on remodeling the rest of this house and so will most likely be around during your stay (But rest assured I will not be doing anything that causes noise or other distressing elements). I’m always down for a float to the ocean on the siltcoos outlet or a game of frisbee golf (I set it up in the dunes)! I grew up here and can offer you suggestions on places to see and to avoid. Other things to note This is the last house on a dead end street and as such is pretty peaceful. Please be mindful of the neighbors after 00h00.
