Monarch Pond Cabin is located in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. You can relax with the whole family or friends in this peaceful place. The cabin is situated on a private pond and is just a short walk to the community lake where you can fish, swim, sun, or paddle around with any hand powered vessel, two kayaks/PFD's are provided. Indoors there's plenty of space to gather and more room to relax out on the multi-level deck. At the end of the day circle around the fire pit and make some memories! The space This Cozy and spacious cabin is tastefully decorated to create an inviting environment for your get away. A serene wooded lot on Monarch pond provides a lovely view from the upper or lower deck to bird watch, read or nap. Indoors you will be greeted by a warm and welcoming great room. Gather around the table for good eats or with a game or puzzle from the large Armoire curated for your pleasure. The master bedroom on the main floor opens onto the deck and boasts an oversized walk-in shower with multiple shower heads. The two bedrooms on the second floor are both cheerful and bright, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins. Guest access Your stay at Monarch Pond Cabin gives you access to the entire cabin, the lawn and deck surrounding the cabin. The barn/garage/shed are not for guest use, thanks. *The laundry room is not available for guests. Other things to note Like campfires? We do too! You'll find dry seasoned firewood bundles for sale ($5 per bundle) on the side of the metal out building. Bring your own fire starters. Please enjoy responsibly and be aware of wind advisories. The lighter will be in the house. During winter months, when snow and ice are present/forecasted, 4-wheel drive is highly recommended since many of the roads are gravel, hilly, and can take time to be treated, plowed and cleared. Cell signal is not available in certain areas. The cabin does have a landline phone and wifi calling abilities. For your trip to the cabin, we recommend having a copy of directions in case GPS/cell signal is lost. Once at the cabin and connected to the wifi, you can download maps of attractions, but having a backup map or GPS is always recommended. ***Unpredictable weather in the area is possible and can cause power outages. As the cabin is in a rural location, water is from a well and cannot be drawn upon in the event of a power outage. We do not offer weather related refunds outside of our cancellation policy, so you may wish to purchase trip cancellation insurance for your travels in case you do need to cancel last minute.
