Our newly built cozy and relaxing guest cottage is located in New Haven . It has stunning views and gorgeous sunsets!! Located just seven miles from Middlebury ,Vergennes and Bristol . All of which have great shops and restaurants! Close to many local attractions including ,Woodchuck Cider house, Lincoln Peak Vineyard, Ski areas, Hiking , rivers, lakes, restaurants and much more! Our goal was to provide guests with a home away from home! We feel our cottage offers that and much more. The space My husband and I built our guest cottage ourselves . We designed it with cathedral ceilings and pocket doors to add a feeling of openness. It has a covered deck where you enter as well as a covered porch off of the bedroom, which has a dimmable chandelier for those romantic evenings. There is a swing on the porch which is great for watching the wonderful sunsets or just relaxing and taking in the mountain views. We heat and cool with a heat pump . The electricity for the cottage is supplied by solar panels which are located on the main house and barn. There is an automatic standby generator that will supply electricity on the rare occasions that we lose power! The kitchen is equipped with lovely soft close shaker cabinets and all new stainless appliances, toaster, blender , Keurig coffee maker as well as dishes, bakeware, cookware , utensils and more. The bed as well as the sofa sleeper have memory foam mattresses for a comfortable nights sleep. All bedding and linens are supplied. We have a large flat screen TV in the living space which has a full cable package. Our property has a pond with a great place to sit and enjoy the views and sunsets ! We have added a dock to the pond. It has solar lights lining both sides. We purchased a Weber gas grill for guests to use, which is situated right near the entry. We supply Green Mountain Coffee k-cups, creamer, sugar and basic condiments. If you’re looking for a quaint country setting that is centrally located Hilltop Cottage would be perfect for you!
