A little information beforehand. For a booking with 2 people, only 1 room will be made ready. The 2nd bedroom is only included for 3 or more people. If 2 people want to sleep separately, that's also possible. However, the price for people and the use of two bedrooms is then slightly higher. The countryside, that's our motto, and so we decided to sell our beloved terraced house near Amsterdam and move our city roots to the countryside. Here we are now, with a small farmhouse and of course plenty of space for us and our future guests in the converted BnB. We rent out 2 beautiful spacious rooms with private bathroom and views of green meadows, forest, here and there a few cows or wildlife. The room with the beautiful view 18 m2 large room, equipped with 1.80 cm x 2.00 cm double bed, cozy TV armchair, small sitting area for wine in the evening, Smart TV, unlimited W-LAN, JBL Bluetooth music box and a double wardrobe with plenty of space for your stay with us. A 6m2 penthouse bathroom and suite with a feel-good rain shower makes the room perfect. The garden room 18 m2 room, equipped with a 1.60 cm x 2.00 cm double bed, comfortable TV armchair, small sitting area for a glass of wine in the evening, Smart TV, unlimited W-LAN, JBL Bluetooth music box and a double wardrobe with plenty of space for your stay with us. A 6m2 en suite bathroom with a feel-good rain shower makes the room perfect. Both rooms are adjacent to a 25m2 bright and spacious hall! We call it "the heart of the house." A mixture of passage, sun-drenched middle floor, where we will also gather to reach all the rooms of the house, to the small coffee kitchen with a spacious seating area and kitchen block - island. Of course, this space can be fully used by our guests. With a total garden of 2600m2, we have of course taken great care in creating a private outdoor space for our guests, which can be used very well in the summer. For a sundowner or to have a small barbecue in the evening, wine, beer, drinks...? Those who stay with us will see every wish come true, as long as it is feasible! In other words, just feel at home, in the garden pavilion, in your own room or in the heart of the house at the cooking island with fantastic views over the village. Of course, you are free to choose this location for breakfast. Switch off, feel good and enjoy. About the Area: Our BnB is located on the outskirts of Donkerbroek. Donkerbroek is a small idyllic village, which is directly crossed by a wide waterway canal. So nothing stands in the way of long walks along the water. Very good to know, our BnB is right on the STELLINGENPAD hiking trail. This goes directly through Donkerbroek. If you are passing through, you are welcome to stay with us. As far as the eye can see, forests, meadows, water and pure nature. A restaurant, snack cafeteria, typical Dutch cafe, bakery, flower shop, COOP supermarket, everything is within 10 minutes' walk. or... Would you like to take a bike ride? Our driveway is directly adjacent to a bike path where you can explore the entire area. Oosterwolde, Appelscha, Drachten and Gorredijk are beautiful Dutch towns that can be reached by bike in 5-15 km. Bike rental - no problem. Let us take care of it. You are welcome to inform us directly when booking. If you want to bring your own bike, parking, storage and charging facilities are available. National parks, amusement parks, bike rides, swimming lakes, bird watching. There are no limits to the variety. Since we are in the middle of Friesland, you can even reach the IJsselmeer and the North Sea in 30 minutes by car, thanks to the very good A7 highway connection. - Drents Friese Wereld - Appelscha  Horseback riding, hiking, biking 15 minutes by car, 35 minutes by bike. - De Alde Feanen National Park  Cycling, canoeing, swimming, boating, pancake tour, bird breeding areas, bird spotting 25 minutes by car, 1 hour by bike.  - Recreation Park Duinen Zathe Many different attractions, dinosaur show, the haunted house and many different roller coasters. 10 min by car, 30 min by bike.
