Located in the Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community, less than five miles to downtown Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Skybridge, Ripley's Aquarium, Anakeesta, and more. - Hot tub with twinkle lights and privacy curtains. - King-sized bed with pillow top mattress. - Fully stocked kitchen - Locally roasted coffee, a variety of K-cups, sugar and other sweeteners, filters, and a selection of tea. - We provide plenty of dish soap, dishwasher detergent, dish towels, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, laundry detergent. - Plenty of towels, extra blankets, and pillows. There's even a towel warmer! - Fast WIFI and streaming services on the Roku TV. - A selection of board games and DVDs. - 50 inch electric fireplace in living room and smaller electric fireplace in bedroom. - There are loaner hiking poles and small backpack in the cabin, and a selection of hiking guidebooks. We are locals who are hikers; we're happy to assist with trail recommendations! We also have a cooler and yoga mat for you to use while you're in town. - Fire pit outside is shared between the four cabin units on this property. - Lower level unit, no steps to get inside. - Located in the Glades, aka the "quiet side" of Gatlinburg. 5 minutes from the only grocery store in Gatlinburg and several dining options. Less than 5 miles to most Gatlinburg attractions, including Ober Gatlinburg, Downtown Gatlinburg, Anakeesta, the SkyBridge, and more! Dollywood, Splash Country, and Pigeon Forge attractions are 12 miles away. - Local owners who can help you with hiking recommendations, restaurant recommendations, first hand knowledge! - Pack and play crib available, please let us know if you'll need it. - In the kitchen, you'll find plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cookware. Kitchen appliances include Crock Pot, blender, mixer, toaster, electric water kettle, air fryer, even a waffle iron! We also have a fully stocked spice cabinet, and a charcoal grill outside. Charcoal provided too! - This is strictly. a no-animal property for the safety and comfort of our guests and their pets. If you have more people traveling with you, or you want to spread out, some of our other Gatlinburg properties are just steps away. This unit is the ground floor unit of the cabin; the upstairs unit is an entirely separate unit with no shared living space. Each unit has its own hot tub and kitchen. The unit upstairs has a separate parking area and separate entrance and accommodates two travelers. The cabin next door is identical in setup with a single unit on the top and a separate one on the bottom. Let us know if you'd like to reserve all four units in both buildings for your family reunion or week away with friends. This is the lower, 1 bedroom unit of a two unit cabin. The only thing on the lower floor of this building is this unit. There is a unit on the upper floor as well, with a separate entryway. You will have access to the lower unit, the lower patio space, and the firepit. We prefer to give our guests privacy and streamline the check in process. You will be given a code to the door and can check yourself in. We do live in a nearby town, and we are available during your stay to address any issues or help you choose something fun to do for the day. Gatlinburg is a tourist area with restaurants, shopping, and activities, including many free activities. There is no charge to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Less than five minutes to the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Community. One of our favorite places in the Arts & Crafts Community is Fowler's Clayworks, where you can make your own coffee mug (they'll teach you and help!), choose the glaze, and they'll fire it and mail it to you for an amazing souvenir of your trip! Less than five miles to: - Downtown Gatlinburg - Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies - Sugarlands Distilling Company and Ole Smoky Distillery - Great Smoky Mountains National Park - Ober Gatlinburg - Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster Less than 12 miles to: - Dollywood - Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster - Titanic Museum attraction - Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede About a mile away are the basics - Food City (groceries, firewood), a couple of fast food places (McDonald's and Subway), some good restaurants (there is a book in the cabin with some of our recommendations), and some great local shops. We are in a neighborhood that is part vacation rentals, part permanent residents. It's quiet, but it's not secluded. This unit has a neighbor that is our other vacation rental property and a neighbor on the other side behind some trees that is also a vacation rental property. But many of the homes you will pass on your drive to the neighborhood are permanent residents. There's parking right outside the front door. There is a trolley providing transportation in and around downtown Gatlinburg. The easiest place to park to catch the shuttle is at the post office, about a five minute drive away. The minimum age to reserve this cabin is 25. Absolutely NO PETS are allowed. This is not a pet-friendly cabin. No trailers are allowed. There is enough parking for ONE vehicle. If you have an oversized vehicle, be forewarned that parking is tight, but doable. You may be more comfortable in one of our upstairs units if you have a large vehicle. This is the lower floor unit of a two unit cabin. Each unit is self-contained and is entirely separate from the other - separate entrances (upper unit entrance is in front, lower unit is built into a hill, so entrance is in the back), separate living spaces, separate hot tubs with privacy curtains. The lower unit shares a parking area with the guests in the lower unit of the neighboring cabin. If you want a super secluded cabin, this isn't it. We've been lucky to have fantastic guests who are respectful of one another and we've never had an issue.
