Imagine waking up to the sound of birds - and total silence in a magic forest 30 min from Oslo center, by car. The cabin is surrounded by trees, beautiful hiking tracks, stunning scenery. Two wonderful lakes were you can go skinnydipping, summer or winter. Old forest with large trees where you can be all by yourself. The cabin is totally off-grid. Solar powered with no running water. A perfect place to check out how comfortable and environmental-friendly off-grid living can be. The space The room is tiny, warm and cosy. There is cups, plates etc available. Batterypacks to charge your phone. Pv/Mac I can charge in my room. Outdoor kitchen with gas-cooker and everything needed, inc pil snd a few spices. You need to do your dishes by hand. Big terrace with comfy chairs, hammock and beautiful view (to Oslo!) - big sky (lots of stars). A lawn and good places in the garden to chill. Bålpanne + fireplace in the forest near by. A beautiful garden. Forest all around. Beautiful tracks and trees and lakes. Guest access My room/kitchen/livingroom is off-grid for guest. You can use the outdoor kitchen, terrace, garden as much as you like. During your stay I can give you a quick tour of the place and how to live off-grid near Oslo. I can also show you the hike to one of the lakes. Meals on demand or outdoor/my kitchen available for cooking Other things to note Off-grid means old fashion living for modern people. Living as eco-friendly as possible. My place really IS in the forest. There is no: Running water Hotwater from a tap or shower No regular shower No regular electricity No electrical stove for cooking No water-heater in your room No regular toilet No drainage pipes The dirttoad up takes you here in 12-15 minutes by car, it is very steep and bumpy, best travelled by 4WD car. There is a locked gate at the beginning of the road and there is parking by the gate. You can walk up or I can drive you for a small fee. I can also pick you up at a bus-stop/station for a fee.
