Nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside and close to Bude and the North Cornwall coastline, Nuthatch Barn is the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the restful sounds of the countryside, explore the coastal path, try the surf and visit captivating villages such as Tintagel, Boscastle, Clovelly and Padstow. Having dreamt of owning a small hospitality business this amazing opportunity began in February 2021 when we moved to Little Derril. Book a stay with us and enjoy our vision. The space Nuthatch Barn is the perfect romantic retreat within the glorious Devon countryside, close to the breathtaking North Cornish Coast with many stunning dog friendly beaches. One of the three delightful holiday cottages at Little Derril, this pretty single story conversion sits adjoining Stonechat Barn, opposite the owner’s Farmhouse. Skilfully converted back in 2018 the original barn dates back over 300 years. Nuthatch Barn is on one level with the exception of 3 steps up to the entrance and one outside into the garden. A king size en-suite bedroom and a separate kitchen, diner and lounge which leads outside to a secure garden. An ideal choice for couple anytime of the year wether you are looking just to relax, and recharge your batteries, walk as much of the South West Coastline or engage in outdoor activities. Bookable reflexology & Indian head massage available on site. Guest access As well as your enclosed garden space you are free to walk around our 10 acres. There is a paddock and large field to watch the sunset in as well as exercise your fury friend. Alternatively you can just relax and watch the sunset go down while listen to nature’s surroundings. Other things to note Nuthatch has a 6ft fenced garden plus we have an extra 10 acres to enjoy. It will comfortably accommodate up 2 dogs (Labrador size) Nuthatch Barn had fibre broadband installed Sept 2025. Reflexology is bookable onsite along with facial reflexology & Indian head massage.
