The House Stargazer House is a 1200 square foot, open concept 2 story with a master suite on each floor. Biking and hiking trails are steps from both the front and back doors. The home has tall ceilings, central A/C, high speed internet and great natural light year around. It is outfitted with healthy and sustainable Public Goods products that are good for people and the planet. Stargazer is a cozy, clean, comfortable and fun space. Come see for yourself! Please note that we are not set up for small children and we are not currently allowing pets. Kitchen/Dining Featuring high-end stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops, this awesome kitchen is fully outfitted with pots, pans, utensils, beer/wine glasses, and everything else you need to put together a gourmet meal or a quick barbecue. Coffee maker(s) (drip, french press and pour over), bean grinder/beans, toaster, and blender are all available. The dining table comfortably seats 4 people, plus two counter stools. First floor bedroom/bathroom King size bed with luxury linen and private door to patio. En suite master bath with double sink and walk-in shower. Public Goods shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryer provided. Second floor bedroom/bathroom King size bed with luxury linen and access to outdoor covered porch. Gas grill and umbrella on the patio so everyone can enjoy the amount of sunshine they desire. Neighborhood Common Space Grassy common courtyard just steps away. Easy paved walking and dirt trail options in every direction. Private access to the entire home and patio. Garage door is easiest and most convenient access, especially for luggage, groceries, etc. Please refrain from bringing gear (bikes, skis, paddle boards, snowshoes, etc) into the home. There is plenty of space in the garage! The garage can accommodate one small vehicle, a second vehicle can park on the concrete pad just outside the garage and there is plenty of shared guest spaces just steps away. No parking on street (HOA rules). $250 fee if garage opener is lost or not left on property upon check out. I am not generally on property during your stay but I am just a text or call away. The River Camp neighborhood is a wonderful 19 home development conveniently located to the shops, restaurants, and pubs on Century Drive and an easy 5 minute drive to Downtown Bend, the Old Mill District and the Box Factory. With the spectacular Cascade Lakes, Mount Bachelor Ski Resort, and miles and miles of wilderness just outside of your door, the Base Camp house is the perfect place to call home for your Bend, Oregon adventures! • Internet is fast so that multiple people can stream, work and/or attend online classes simultaneously. • Stargazer is stocked with luxury linens and towels, a wide variety of Public Goods products such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cooking oils, spices plus complimentary tea and coffee. • The quiet times in our neighborhood are from 10pm-8am. No parties or group events please. This is a non-smoking property. Fee may be incurred if evidence of smoke is found on property. • Within a week of your arrival you will receive an email with check-in instructions and more property details. • For winter guests: our neighborhood gets snow plowed, but not our very short driveway or front steps. A shovel is available in the garage for your use. • For longer term stays, we provide a substantial stock of supplies upon your arrival, but should you run out of anything it will be up to you to replenish during your stay. We may require mid stay cleanings.
