Come stay in our sweet, new guesthouse! This is NOT a basement space. It has a real bedroom (not a studio) & full kitchen. The Silver Star cottage is in our backyard but very separate with its own city lane access. Lots of beautiful wood and a cozy vibe. We are 1 block from the fabulous Alberta Arts St. but far enough away that it's quiet here. Perfect! Walk to shops & restaurants. Also easy to access anywhere in the city. There's a double-sized hide a bed couch in the airy living space. The space The Silver star cottage is private & feels quite roomy. We thought through many details to make your stay wonderful. The Fireplace & heated bathroom floor are luxurious amenities. The bedroom has ROOM DARKENING shades throughout. Air conditioning is provided from approximately May through September. We do want you to know that the bathroom is en suite to the bedroom, so anyone sleeping on the sofa will have to go through the bedroom to access it. Please note there is NO TV in the cottage. We use FRAGRANCE FREE cleaners & detergent. We are sensitive to smells and work to keep the cottage fragrance free. Guest access The address that will be sent to you via AirBnB is the front of our house (we cannot change this). You have private access to the cottage via the city lane behind the house. Please read the instructions we send after booking, which will take you right to the Cottage's front door. Other things to note Free street parking. The hide-a-bed is a double. It's got memory foam and is comfy, but probably not suited for 2 larger adults. Absolutely no smoking or vaping in cottage. Portland is known for having lots of tiny ants and we do see some occasionally in the cottage. Registration number 18-168403-000-00-ho
