This is my home so it has everything you need but right now our work requires us to travel back and forth overseas a lot. So we're opening it up to share it with those visiting Ottawa when I’m away! Don't be fooled by the outside, it's the inside that counts. Single-family house. Enter the house through the front or side door. Both doors with welcome you with a smart lock that we will provide you with the code at check-in. For safety we change the code after each guest. Let's start in the Kitchen! Bright and white with brand new Quartz countertops and gold finishes. You will have access to a large fully stacked kitchen with new appliances! Tons of counter space so you can bring home some incredible groceries from the farmer's market or our favourite Italian grocery store La Bottega in the Byward Market. Careful those Henckle knives are extremely sharp. You're welcome to use all our appliances and kitchen tools we just ask you to treat them with care! We've left all our kitchen essentials for you to use with care and create new memories with your family. Take your eye right to the breakfast bar and you'll see the beautiful dining room. We've added an adorable nook with a porcelain/marble backing perfect for the kids or the head of the table. Some of the light in the house you could call "smart". Try saying "Hey, G00gle turn on the lights in the dining room". You'll notice some beautiful black and white prints in the cupboards. Our youngest daughter has a passion for art and these are some of her pieces! #SupportLocal Artists. To the living room! You'll see the oversized couch. It's the transformer couch from a Canadian company based in Montreal. They are so comfy and Canadian! Dim the living room lights with the remote control and turn on the fireplace lights to snuggle on the couch and enjoy movies on Amazon Prime or Netflix! There's also a half bathroom and laundry you can access. We provide some detergent and dryer sheets. Let's go upstairs to the bedrooms. The first bedroom on your right we've named the "Silver Room". This was our youngest daughter's room and she loves Paris. Firm memory foam mattress and queen bed. "Hey, G00gle dim the lights in the Silver Room" to set the mood. The middle bedroom is the smallest bedroom. There's a single bed with another single mattress underneath with bedding provided. Perfect for the kids! There's a small desk and chair too. The Master bedroom, we've theme it with neutral tones. Our oldest daughter loves to travel so some of the photos you see are some of her originals. There's a corner desk, perfect for work from home. Large window to let it lots of natural sunlight too. Lastly, there is one full bathroom upstairs with a large soaker tub and semi rain fall shower head. The washroom is very small, but it has everything you need and it's newly updated. If you're here in the summer you'll enjoy the beautiful backyard. Help yourself to any herbs and vegetables. If you're lucky you'll get fruits from the plum trees! There is no patio furniture available. Guest access You have access to the entire house. Mud room, kitchen, living room/dining room, 3-bedroom and 1.5 bathroom. Backyard & garden. There are two spaces that are locked. #1: the basement is unfinished it is just crawl space and the furnace. This is a century home. #2: the garage is also locked, if you're curious it's really just garden tools, lawn mower, snowblower etc. You won't need any of this as we take care of it!
