Cosy Period Cornish Cottage

We think the cottage provides the perfect escape for couples and families alike. Set in a rural Cornish valley surrounded by incredible countryside & wildlife and yet only a short drive to the south Cornish coast (Looe, Polperro or Fowey). The cottage is full of character and 18th Century charm but has been tastefully furnished to provide a lovely place to relax and enjoy the peace. We have some amazing local food outlets and restaurants in the area and all the major supermarkets will deliver. The space The property was originally two cottages and still retains two stair cases as well as plenty of reception space stunning fire places and plenty of character. We have a large kitchen / dining space which is all open plan with a lovely wood burning stove to keep the cottage cozy on those chilly evenings. The living space is also very generous with comfortable settees to relax and read , watch a box set on the large HD smart TV or challenge the family to one of the board games that we keep. We have Sonos through out the house so you can listen to any of your own music , podcasts or radio. Cooking is a pleasure in the kitchen with everything you need including large range style oven / hob. Separate fridge and freezer , dishwasher etc.. Perfect to rustle up a quick breakfast before a day of exploring or creating a full evening meal with the family. Bedroom 1 is a large bedroom with plenty of storage space and a king size bed. As well as lovely views across the valley. It can be accessed by either of the stair cases. Bedroom 2 is a double room again with its own storage and views Bedroom 3 is a double room with perhaps some of the best views down over the valley. It has the ultimate reading spot were the sun streams in .. perfect with a cup of Coffee! The cottage has a spacious family bathroom upstairs with a full bath and hand held shower. Downstairs there is a second bathroom with a shower (perfect the you have just come off the beach). We also have an outside tap to wash down wetsuits etc.. and a clothes line to hang beach gear. The Garden is mostly laid to lawn with a terrace area to the south of the property that takes advantage of the evening sun. Perfect for al fresco dining or just an evening drink . Guest access The cottage is for your exclusive use during your stay , the land to the side of the house is shared and leads to your own private off road parking.
