The space The cottage also features a lakeside deck with bbq and seating. Set on the shores of a 1,700-acre lake known for bass, northern pike, walleye, lake trout, perch, and other panfish, it’s a perfect escape for anglers and anyone craving peaceful water views. Guest access The Lehlewa Lakeside Retreat features three charming cottages—Red Fox, Blue Heron, and Grey Owl—each with access to shared amenities: a large fire pit, two docks, a screened-in gazebo, a canoe, five kayaks, four paddle boards, a spacious sauna, and two outdoor showers. While the bay is naturally shallow, the owner has created a clear, inviting swimming area right off the dock. Other things to note The owner lives on-site with his very friendly dog, and pets are welcome as long as they’re equally friendly with both people and other dogs. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
