Welcome to house Kivikko Cozy double room in a quiet house in Ylläsjärvi, Ylläs. Perfect for a short comfortable stay. Shared bathroom with toilet and shower. Supermarket and restaurants in about 2 km distance in Ylläsjärvi. NOTE: In winter you need to have a car, there is no walking path to my house! I have a dog. Not suitable for infants nor children nor people with animal allergies. No possibility to cook! Maintain peace and quiet from 22pm - 7am! Not suitable for night owls. The space My house is a small, about 70m2 and stands alone. There are neighbors nearby, but usually you can't see them. The road that passes by the house is usually quiet, but can be lively during the holidays. The guest room and the bathroom are on ground floor, right after the entrance. BATHS Shared bathroom with toilet and shower. GUEST ROOM The guest room was repainted a year ago. It has a chest of drawers, shelves, hangers, and a mirror. The view from the guest room window goes into the woods. If you're lucky you can see the northern lights from the window. In summer you will be greeted by the midnight sun. PATIO At the house entrance there is a terrace which can be used in the summer for smoking, relaxing and having breakfast outdoors. KITCHEN NO COOKING FACILITIES. You can use the kitchen to prepare your own breakfast (bring your own food!). There is also a microwave that may be used. Food can be stored in my fridge on request. Please keep in mind that my fridge is small QUIET HOURS Quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am. SAUNA The sauna can be used for a stay of 2 nights. PANCAKE DINNER IN LAVVO I offer as dinner traditional pancakes with reindeer meat prepared on the fire in my Lavvo (tipi tent). Booking at least 2 days in advance. Price per person 35 EUR. Duration approx. 1.5 hours. SHOP I have a small shop where I sell local crafts, souvenirs and natural products all made in Ylläs. Guest access Access to the entry area, guest room, bathroom and the outdoor area. NO COOKING FACILITIES! The kitchen can be used to prepare breakfast, but not for cooking! The supermarket, restaurants and cafés can be reached in about 2 km on foot in summer. In winter there is only the road and the cross-country ski trail that lead to the village, so a car is essential in winter. During your stay I am working from home and am therefore a majority at home. You can enjoy your stay in peace. If you want to talk to me, have a coffee or need my help, I am happy to be there for you. Otherwise, you can reach me via app or by phone. Other things to note NO COOKING FACILITIES! There is a small kettle and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Important: NOT suitable for children. Not suitable for people with animal allergies. My dog is very quiet and friendly, but she is very shy. Best is to just ignore them. CAMPFIRE DINNER I offer hearty traditional pancakes with reindeer meat on the campfire. Price 35 EUR per person; booking min. 2 days in advance. PLEASE NOTE: in winter there is NO walk from my house to the village! The cross-country ski trail is about 200m from my house.
