Our central, spacious, light, sunny & comfy 5th floor South facing apartment is an easy stroll to the clean sandy beach + promenade & pier. The large airy living room has access to your private wrap-around balcony with seating where you can relax & enjoy the sun or just pop out to watch the world go by. There are 2 large bedrooms with King beds, 1.5 bathrooms + well equipped kitchen. Lifts to all floors. FREE secure garage parking for 1 car. Families welcome. No pets policy in the building. The space Please be aware that the garage is only suitable for a small to medium size family car. Approx maximum car size: Height - 1.99m, Length - 4.6m, Width - 2.5m. Whether you choose to stay for just a few nights or, maybe, even a week, this is an ideal central spot, located within a 10 - 15 minutes gentle stroll to the beach, pier, town centre, The Winter Gardens, The Pavilion Theatre and the BIC. The train station is also situated around a flat, easy 10 minute walk away; we can send you directions on request. Taxis can be found just outside station entrance if needed. The large airy living room has a welcoming feel with a dining table (seats 6) and comfortable seating. As an added bonus we now have remote controlled motorised curtains so you don't have to drag yourself out of your chair! Better still, leave them open so you can enjoy the amazing views. Two sliding doors - front & side - lead to your private, wrap-around, good-sized balcony where you can sit and relax with a cup of tea, enjoy the sun, watch the world go by with a 24 hour ringside view of the local area (check out our photos) or, if you stand on tip - toe at the far end of the balcony, looking West, you can just about see Poole Bay and The Isle of Purbeck! Both bedrooms are a good size, each having 'blackout' curtains, king beds (pocket springs/memory foam) plus seasonal duvets & assorted pillows. Feeling a bit chilly? We also have a couple of blankets for you in the wardrobe. The fitted wardrobes each have a full size mirror plus plenty of hanging & storage space. There are 'steampunk' lights above each bed with easy to reach pull switches as well as ceiling fans (both with lights) to keep you cool, installed in both bedrooms. See photos. There is also a small chair, bedside cabinets, a hairdryer, plenty of lighting + a clock radio. The sunny main bedroom has a dedicated work space with a desk/dressing table with a mirror for your convenience along with a vintage BA flight seat. You will find a remote charger & cables close at hand; and in the drawer you will find an adjustable laptop stand, note book, note pads and other handy bits. There is a printer available for you to use; just let us know if you want it. We have also provided a small safe for guests' use during your stay with us - this can be found in the wardrobe. Full instructions are provided. There is also a Hauck travel cot available (together with a small, soft blanket) for babies/young children up to 2 years. We also provide a changing mat, gentle baby wipes and nappy sacks for your convenience. The second, slightly smaller, bedroom also has a table and chair together with a small adjustable brass "banker's lamp" and Victorian mirror (see photos). This is ideal as a dressing table or, if needed, an additional desk, also with remote charger, being located by a useable power supply. There is a laptop stand in this drawer. Feeling a bit chilly? There is a portable radiator in one of the side cupboards next to the bed. Just in case you were wondering, the ironing board and airers can also be found in this room in cupboards opposite the bed... The kitchen is well equipped and includes a wide selection of coffee pods for our guests with various coffee makers + ground coffee & filter machines, double oven/grill, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, Dualit classic 4 slice toaster, to name a few! We also have a small selection of child-friendly plates, bowls, etc that you can use during your stay. Feeling fancy? There is a large teapot you can use in conjunction with our new dedicated 'tea box' containing selected tea bags. Please feel free to help yourself to the available food items such as instant coffee, cereals, sauces, etc., found in the wall cupboards above microwave. A washing machine is provided including washing tablets & fabric softener. Opposite the airing cupboard you will find a torch, fire extinguisher, small camping lamp and fire blanket in case of emergencies. There is also an escape ladder in the bottom cupboard. The main bathroom has a bath and separate shower as well as a basin plus a small wall cabinet where you will find a well-equipped medical box + sun cream/after sun lotion if needed. The 'seaside' themed half bathroom has a toilet with a small sink and mirror. We also provide towels, toilet paper, liquid soap, shower gels and shampoo. You can also try a spot of star gazing, observe the neighbourhood at night, or just chill out with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. There are throws/shawls available in the sideboard situated in the living room in case it gets a bit chilly outside. By the way, don't forget Bournemouth is a popular holiday destination and as the apartment is close to a main road weekends, especially, can be quite lively in high Summer. When you've done all that, there is a DVD player with a wide selection of DVDs available and a varied collection of books and games for a rainy day. We also provide you with a highchair & baby bouncer seat for our youngest guests. There is now a Bluetooth speaker in the living room for guests. Free WiFi is available; however, due to the apartment not having a permanent phone connection, it is a 4G mobile broadband service with download/upload speeds of around 12 and 5 mb/s respectively. We have a good selection of leaflets providing ideas of things to do, places to visit, bus tours and maps of the area while you are with us. Feel free to use any of these. You can use your Over 65's Freedom Pass after 9.30am down here which is really handy if you want to pop into Poole or further afield to places such as Salisbury & Lymington (which has a Saturday street market): these buses can be picked up at the stop just outside the building - just stick your hand out!! Guest access The apartment is for sole use of our guests. Other things to note **If you have any food allergies, please let us know before you arrive, so we can make sure there is nothing around that could be harmful to you.** In the interests of current security/noise problems, we have been requested to mention the following: **Please do not let anyone into the building - via the internal entry system - that you are not expecting.** ** Make sure that entrance doors (front & back) are closed properly when you use them.** **If coming in late at night please consider the other residents especially those by the main entrance.** **Please note that there is CCTV in communal spaces/main entrance hall** ** NO BBQ's, CANDLES OR TEA LIGHTS PLEASE**
