This Tiny Historic Home is located in a family friendly neighborhood in a small quiet town with partial views of our Newly Restored Courthouse. It is decorated in French Country historic theme with original 1800 woodwork. Property Activities include a hotdog/ marshmallow/ cooking fire pit, games and cable t.v. Activities in town include Lake fishing, Fossil hunting, Safari Park, bike & walking trails, hiking, golf, Shopping, a theater, wineries and museums complete with a newly restored caboose. The space This Historic Cottage was built around 1878 and retains much of it's original charm. Inside, you will find the original door hardware, a fireplace, china hutch, beadboard and pine flooring. We have provided old fashioned entertainment such as cards, checkers and dominoes but we also have modern conveniences such as microwaves, AC/Heat, Roku T.V./ DVD/ WiFi. The fenced backyard has a covered porch for enjoying your favorite beverage in the morning or evening and the opportunity to be entertained by resident squirrels, birds, frogs and butterflies in the garden. Outdoor swings and dining areas are available as well. Guest access The price listed is for the entire house of 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, sitting area with a fireplace, a dining room and a full kitchen. The sitting area is equipped with 2 daybeds for additional guests. Other things to note Bonham is home to Muddbones , an Award winning Old time Hamburger Joint as seen on "America's Best Restaurants" and Texas Bucket List. We do have a small airport in town and there is a Skydiving Service in a town nearby if you are the adventurous type. There are also 4 museums and fossil hunting as well as hiking and biking trails or fishing and birdwatching.
