Conservatory Private southerly views over the rear courtyard and double glazed with a garden door. Access to the private patio, and snug. Bedroom 1 A generous king sized bed, with a lookout to the village. Built-in wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Further character with a restored period cast iron Georgian basket fireplace and ceiling beams. Bedroom 2 A good double room with a a character low sash front window. A large built-in storage cupboard, and chest of drawers. Bedroom 3 Generous twin room with built drawers, and a stand alone single wardrobe. This bedroom has village and dale views. Bathroom A new Victorian period style family bathroom including a roll-top bath with claw and ball feet . An over-bath shower with rainhead and flexihose is thermostatically controlled. There is a Savoy pedestal wash basin and w.c. Shower Room A modern sleek designed space in almost all white with a large glass easy access shower enclosure, a thermostatically controlled rain-head shower and flexihose. Toilet and hand basin. Courtyard Gardens Large natural stone flags are smooth and paved right up the the dry limestone boundary walls which enclose this private courtyard and the aspect to the south captures sunny days. This area is for easy maintenance and there is passageway access out to the village footpaths and bridleways. Sorry - we do not accept pets, and we are a smoking free household. Centrally positioned amongst village shops and services which include general store, creamery, surgery, country inns, church and tea rooms. Hartington is famous for having provided 25% of the worlds supply of stilton cheese, and has a lovely village green and duck pond. Hartington is on the Tissington Trail, and acts as a great base for exploring the many public foot paths and cycle routes. The towns of Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell and Matlock are all within 20 minutes drive. Free roadside parking outside the cottage is available, and free & paid car parks 2 minutes walk away in the village. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, and rear courtyard.
