Overlooking the lake nestled right behind the main lodge, this cabin has 3 bedrooms, a half bathroom, a seating a room, a basic kitchenette & access to camp showers downstairs. One large bedroom has a queen bed, one room with bunkbeds, & one with a full bed to accommodate a max of 6 guests. (But the bunkbeds are best for kid-sized humans). Like all of Wandawega, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. There is heat & a couple AC window units. The space The kitchenette is outfitted pretty much the same since 1950, with a vintage fridge, electric cooktop, stove & griddle, microwave, coffee pot, assortment of glasses, plates, utensils, etc. It's suitable for basic prep, or making sandwiches, not "proper" cooking. For cooking meals most folks use the outdoor griddles, grills, & smokers. Like all of Camp, it’s a back-to-basics, no-frills, primitive experience. Simple rooms, vintage furnishings. You'll also have your own dedicated campfire site, just off your deck. Head’s up that the photos don’t always match the current reality, because we never stop moving stuff around. We strongly suggest you come for a tour before booking so you know exactly what you're getting. If you’re looking for fine lodging, look elsewhere: this is old-school cabin-living. WHAT YOU GOTTA KNOW: We still behave more like a private friends & family retreat than a “proper” destination. So bear with us as our innkeepers hats still don’t fit great. If you require an immediate response, and lots of hand-holding, Wandawega might not be the best fit for you. OK, you've been warned : ) LETS GET REAL: Folks aren’t booking accommodations here as much as they’re accessing an old school summer camp experience, with the gamut of self-guided activities: archery, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, tennis, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, etc. Everything is included, and it’s all DIY. Watch the orientation film on our site to kick off your stay. By most standards, we have few modern conveniences (some find that charming, others call it hell).
