Experience Durham in our recently renovated 1950’s bungalow. Walk to Northgate Park, playground, tennis courts and the dog park located nearby. Enjoy the original character and charm, with a fun fresh look, cosy beds, renovated bathroom and a large deck. Just over 1 mile from Downtown Durham, our house is the perfect location for enjoying local attractions, including the Durham Bulls, DPAC, the Duke University, and 9th Street. Stay for 2 nights to one year. Pet friendly. The space The house is located just a two-minute walk to the Northgate Park tennis courts, playground and picnic shelter and a slightly longer walk to a free range dog park (located in Rock Quarry Park). All these amenities are free and available to the public. You can also walk to the Museum of Life and Science via a pedestrian trail that passes a life-sized brontosaurus initially installed as part of Durham's Dinosaur Trail in the 1960's. The hosts include information regarding their favorite things to do and places to eat/drink nearby (via walking, cycling, and driving), so you can have the full Durham experience. We want you to bring your children and house-trained pets. We do ask that you please let us know the quantity and type of pets you are bringing to ensure everyone will be happy with their stay, as 5 people and 3 larger pets maybe too much for our 2-bedroom house. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and yard. Other things to note Please note, the entrance for guests is via the deck and therefore has stairs between the entrance and the off-street parking.
