Description
Step into your own personal fairy tale and stay in our beautiful 12' canvas bell tent located in the pine grove behind our farm and farmhouse. Stay cozy and dry on a custom built wooden platform that elevates you off the mossy forest floor. We have included a full size futon with lots of pillows and warm linens to keep you comfortable at night. Come un-plug and get closer to nature. We are so excited to share this special place with you! The space We purchased this property in 2017 and are currently restoring it into a working farm. Our home was built somewhere around 1800. In the past, this property has been used as a farm, homestead, bed and breakfast, and private residence. Come stay with us and see what projects we are up to! Please note that we are on a dirt road. It is well maintained but if there is inclement weather, it can get a bit muddy. Guest access You will have access to your campsite that is secluded in the woods behind our house. Please note that you will have to park by our garage and then walk several hundred yards back to your site. You will also have access to the back of our house which includes our bathroom (with laundry in it) as well as a kitchenette. The bathroom has a shower (with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided), toilet, sink, washer and dryer. The kitchenette contains a sink, toaster, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee make, microwave, mini fridge as well as plates, cups, and cutlery. We provide a complimentary selection of tea and coffee. Please note that this is a shared space. You are free to walk through our fields down by the barn or peruse the gardens and patio adjacent to the house. We ask that you stay in the yard, on the marked paths, or in your campsite unless accompanied by us. If you choose to explore through the woods, you are doing so at your own risk. Please be aware that there are ticks in this part of New England. Bug spray should be worn when venturing outside. Other things to note Please note that the rest of our house is off limits to guests. If you would like a home cooked hot breakfast, we would love to cook you something delicious for an additional fee of $15 per person. Please let us know if you would like to add this option when booking your stay with us. Gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian/vegan options available. We'll even deliver it to your tent! We have a lovely dog named Gabbi. This is her home too. She may bark when you arrive, but is friendly. If you do not like dogs or are allergic, this is probably not the best place for you to stay.
