Here in Gold Beach are several restaurants, shops, and two grocery stores so you won't have to go far to find the basics or try out the varied eateries. If you want to check out the other cities around the Southern Coast, you can drive south about 30 miles to Brookings or north about 30 miles to Port Orford, though charming Gold Beach has everything you might need. With the Rogue River flowing just north of town, this region is a fantastic place for fishing, crabbing, rafting, and boating. Book a spot on a charter, or set out on your own to seek adventure. Plus, with the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest stretching to the east, there are plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and exploring options at your fingertips.
