Relax at our cozy 2-bedroom 1 bath house on Anderson Island. Take a 20-minute ferry from Steilacoom to enjoy the peaceful and friendly Anderson Island. We have 2 lakes within a 5-minute walk from our cul-de-sac. There are nature trails, golfing, 2 restaurants and 1 general store on the island. A perfect, quiet, summer getaway. Up to 2 small pets are allowed and maximum of 4 guests on the property. We are located on Anderson Island, a beautiful and secluded getaway. However, please be aware that the only access to the island is through a short 20 minute ferry. Please see the Pierce County Ferry website for more information. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. We have a full kitchen, a small dining table that can fit four, and a living room with a wood burning stove. In the backyard, we have a fire pit with chairs. In the front, we have a grill available for use and a patio table. There is a TV available for use and can be connected to both apple and android phones to stream directly onto the TV. We do not have Wifi on the island but have never had a problem with receiving data/cell service at our cottage. . We will not be there to greet you in person, but please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. There is a small general store for essentials, and a cafe by the general store. There is a restaurant by the golf course that overlooks one of the lakes. There are 2 lakes within walking distance of our home plus about 8 other trails. There is also a farm with a museum and gift shop. The Anderson Island app has the details and hours of those activities. It's a friendly, little community without much shopping or nightlife, but a fun, nature-filled getaway. We have discounted pricing available for longer stays during off season, October through April only.
