Cheerful, clean guest bedroom + bath

If you need a simple, no fuss, no-frills place to stay in Petoskey, look no further! We have a large guest room with attached bath in the lower level of our house. The lower level has it's own entrance and a large family room. The family room is used by our teenagers, but for the most part our family stays upstairs. We do have a lot of kids, so there's lots of activity going on upstairs! But if you need a clean, private room with your own bathroom, we've got it. The space The bedroom is very large, with a queen bed, a twin bed, and plenty of room for a pack n play or crib. The bathroom is connected to the guest room, and has another door into the common area. However, no one else will be using that bathroom during your stay. Although we are less than 10 minutes from downtown Petoskey, our home is in a country/wooded area. We've got farm animals (goats and chickens), and there are wild animals in the woods. If you are bringing a pet, please plan to keep him/her on a leash while outdoors. Lake Michigan is just across the street, so there may be a dampness in the air you are not used to. We have well water, and some guests have noted a smell to it. This is something we have gotten used to and don't notice anymore. Guest access You are free to be any where in the lower level of our house. That space includes the guest room and bath as well as the family room. The family room is a shared space where our teenagers often hang out to watch TV and play music or video games, but for the most part our family stays upstairs. During your stay We hope to give you maximum privacy while you are here. If you have any needs, please call or text. Other things to note There are two main entrances to our house. You will come in through the lower level entry, which is connected to the driveway, and is the closest entrance to where you will park. We mainly use the upper entry, which is on the other side of the house.
