Situated in the upper flat** of a beautiful, classic San Francisco home, you'll enjoy a cozy stay in this small, private room with en-suite full-bath. The best part? While this room sits within a larger flat, you'll feel like it's a private hotel room because you have direct access to the room without having to pass through my living space. **NOTE: There are two flights of stairs to climb up to the flat so unfortunately this is not an ideal spot if carrying your luggage up will be an issue. When staying here you'll appreciate being tucked away on a quiet one-way street that's around the corner from bustling Valencia and Mission streets, each lined with shops, bars, restaurants, mini-grocery, coffee shops, bookstores, movie theaters and more. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this bedroom with en-suite bath, mini-fridge, Nespresso Vertuo, electric tea kettle, bluetooth speaker, desk and smart TV (w/guest Netflix access) will make for a comfortable, cozy, cost-effective stay in one of the most vibrant, colorful neighborhoods in the city. Guest access Guest(s) only have access to the private bedroom and en-suite bath. The bedroom entrance is located at the top of the entryway stairs so coming and going is easy. During your stay While I welcome the opportunity to meet guests, I leave interaction to their discretion. I've designed this guest room to give guests privacy and the ability to come and go without the need for interaction (unless they want to). So while it's a room within a larger flat, you'll feel like it's a private hotel room since 1) you have direct access to the room without having to pass through my space, and 2) the rest of the flat is separated from the bedroom by two doors, allowing for complete privacy for both of us. Other things to note (READ BEFORE BOOKING) 1. The guest room sits behind the room facing the street so if you are looking for special views from the bedroom window, best to find an alternative option. 2. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the room (especially if you’re a couple) you should know this bedroom is on the smaller side. It’s perfectly fine if you want to relax in the evening and watch a movie, it’s just not ideal to hang out in for prolonged periods of time. If you are traveling solo and/or will be out and about for most of the time, it’s very well suited for that type of stay. 3. As noted below this description, the room has a DOUBLE sized bed (slightly smaller than a queen). The vast majority of couples who have stayed here had no complaints but a handful have since they didn’t notice the detail ahead of time in the listing. The room is not big enough for a larger bed so if you are traveling as a couple and are used to a bigger bed, this may not be the ideal booking for you. 4. The guest room shares a wall with my bedroom. To maximize our respective privacy I have taken measures to minimize sound transfer between the rooms. I call this to your attention so you’re aware of this when making the decision to book here. Finally - no guests outside those confirmed at booking (up to 2) are permitted in the home.
