Feeling surrounded by nature but only a 15min very steep drive to the beach!Spend some unforgettable times offthegrid, stargazing, meditating, hiking The space You sleep in an luxurious 13m² yurt with all the comfort, a unique stargazing roof, a double bed, your own solar system and solar electricity outputs, oriental styled dark wood furniture, kitchen essentials (tea, coffee, oil, salt,...). To make the temperature just perfect for your comfort, there is a fan in the summer and heating for the winter nights. Besides having full privacy (no neighbour, your yurt is standing alone on an ancient stone threshing floor), you have a private outdoor bathroom, with a composting toilet, a sink and a solar shower (hot when the sun shines on it) where you will be showering while watching the ocean !!! You also have a shared hot shower all the time at your disposal. Your private outdoor kitchen includes a gas stove, kitchen utensils and sitting area. You have your own big round sun bed with sea view, also perfect for lying down and stargazing. The finca was a former goat farm so there are plenty of caves around for the herd, the tools and the former shepherd family.. The stone terraces and the threshing floor on the finca have been classified national heritage and we are restorating with associations the ancient hiking trails. Three of those hiking trails with very scenic views even depart directly from your yurt. All the area is still really empty so that you can enjoy all these traditional natural jewels on your own most of the time !!! Also if you are interested in wine there is a bodega you can walk to and where you can do wine tasting. Guest access You can use the few hectares of the beautiful farm away from civilisation and electrical magnetic fields, including heritage classified stone terraces and stone platform, caves, dry canyon. Hiking trails are numerous, just ask us for more information. On your way you can observe endemic species like the funny golden houseleeks or the canary birds, or also eat seasonal fruit and nuts like grape, figs and almonds in September. You can use share-use our 4m diameter trampoline, our pool in the summertime and outdoor yoga platforms. During your stay it is possible to book onsite wellness massages and yoga classes by a certified yoga teacher Other things to note There is an outstanding view but you have to drive up a steep countryside road up to enjoy it. Expect a difficult drive with a beautiful reward afterwards. As it is in the nature,although there are no dangerous animal at all, you may encounter lezards and geckos. Notification: Tenerife has a hunting season from August to the end of October. So there could be hunters with there dogs coming through the area. Our place is fully offgrid only using solar energy and mountain water, which makes it a little gem for sustainable travellers. it also means that we expect from our guests water and electricity consumption in harmony with the rythm of nature: high electricity consumption when the sun is out/keeping it to the minimum when the sun is gone, responsible use of water ressources.
