Perfect for a couple or a family of 3 or 4. You will love this mountain home. Quiet residential neighborhood 5 minutes to downtown. 10 mins. to RMNP. 4 mins. to Lake Estes walking path. 9 mins. to Lily Lake. Quiet side of town-avoid traffic to RMNP. *We have chickens in the yard. A middle school student from the neighborhood will be by to give the chickens water and to collect the eggs. The space This beautiful mountain home is on a dead end street in a quiet residential neighborhood. The master bedroom (second floor) has a king size bed w/ east facing views of the mountains. The office (second floor) has a queen size sofa bed with Peacock, Disney +, LG channels and Netflix. The upstairs bathroom has a tub for baths (no shower). The downstairs bathroom has a shower (no baths). There is a large deck off the dining room for morning coffee and evening meals. If you are a young family I am able to offer things to make your stay with a baby more enjoyable; we have a pack n play and a booster seat ready for you to use. The basement is for doing laundry only. No guests should sleep there and no children should play down there. *We have chickens in the yard. A middle school student from the neighborhood will be by to give the chickens water and to collect the eggs. Guest access The entire home is yours to enjoy. The washer and dryer are in the basement. There are laundry detergent and dryer sheets for doing laundry. Our full size kitchen has all of the appliances/equipment that you will need during your stay; stove, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, & freezer. Other niceties include Keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle, many spices, olive oil, dish soap, crisp mountain water, take out menus, and the discount card for the local supermarket. The bathrooms have soap, shampoo, towels, tissues, and toilet paper. My 10 year old daughter's room (near front door and downstairs bathroom) will be locked. *Please note there is no air conditioning in this home, you can see the full list of amenities in another section of this web posting. Other things to note You can take beautiful walks right from the house. Drive 4 minutes to walk around Lake Estes, 5 minutes to stroll downtown's shops and restaurants, 10 minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park, 2 minutes for a gorgeous walk around Lily Lake, or 5 minutes to ride the Estes Park Aerial Tramway. The binder in the house has maps and directions to all of these wonderful attractions. Our home is in a quiet neighborhood and you are able to bypass crowded downtown to get to RMNP. *We have chickens in the yard.
