Moosti is a Modern-Minimal Guest Suite of a Single Family Unit set in a 1.300 sqm Mandarin Orchard surrounded by Mandarin, Pomegranate, Olive and massive pistachio trees. It is just a short walk to the Blue-Flag Grade pristine sea and the downtown serving the local enclave of intellectuals, artists and writers The unit is fully-furnished as a minimalist-modern getaway. Enjoy a unique glimpse into the pre-modern Mediterranean agricultural country life while still remaining at the center. Moosti is hidden at the heart of a secluded mandarin orchard which is 60mt walking distance from the main street. You'll walk through a greenway between the mandarin trees to reach the orchard which is 1.300 sqm and has more than 50 trees of different varieties. The guest house, sits side to side with another larger unit. Larger unit "Müsli" may be used by my family of three from time to time when/if we are there at the same time with your trip. There will be only one party of guests at any given time ensuring that your home away from home will never be overcrowded like its neighboring commercialized outlets. The suite has a large living room with floor-to-ceiling sliding windows. You can fully open them. Smell the fresh scent and aromas of the citrus trees. Inhale the fresh Mediterranean sea breeze. The living room has a sliding sofa. You can use it as a bed for an adult or child. The 32-inch Hi-Tech Led TV has Netflix as well as a PlayStation 3 with more than 15 pre-installed games for those gaming enthusiasts. There is a full, modern kitchen by the living room with an oven and electric stove. It has all modern cooking utensils and appliances. Cook hearty and healthy Mediterranean foods from fresh produce from the organic local farmers market. Rest in the quiet of the country and wake up refreshed at your comfy double bed under the stars. Store and hang your clothes in a large wardrobe. Use the large mirror for makeup. You can exit to the backyard patio from a sliding floor-to-ceiling window. The patio is facing northwards, so it is always cooler to have late brunches even in the dry hot days of fabled Bodrum summer. Watch the Mediterranean red squirrels hop about from your bed. Wash off the rejuvenating sea salt off your body at your spacious shower. Invite your friends and treat your loved ones for a bbq cookout in your garden next to your Suite. Wine and dine under the beautiful almond, pomegranate, and mandarin trees for a change. Enjoy the cool fresh air from your mint ac cooling during hot summer days. Wash your clothes at the shared laundry room underneath the century old wild pistachio tree. Have slow Greek style meals while sunbathing under the shade of the Pergola Rock yourself to an afternoon siesta at the hammock to your heart's delight. Children over 10 can use it under the supervision of a parent/guardian but it is not suitable for infant/toddler use. "Moosti" is for your private use only. You can always take a stroll in the mandarin orchard or use your private patio either on the entrance of the unit or just outside the bedroom. You can use both of the Patios in front of the two exists of the suit. You can use the private space in front of the unit's entrance door under the mandarin, almond and pomegranate trees and set a rural table for every hour of the day. You can use the the hammock without any advance notice. You can also use the pergola in the front yard upon request in advance. The porch in front of the other unit "Müsli" is reserved for our use only. Please refrain from straying from the garden path, as the land around it is our neighbors' private property. This Guest Suit of the Greater Holiday Bungalow is in a secluded spot in the citrus orchards of Bitez on the Bodrum Peninsula. "Musti" is the perfect choice for those seeking peace and quiet off the beaten track and an authentic rural experience within easy reach of everything the vibrant town of Bodrum has on offer. It is a perfect opportunity for digital nomads who seeks a peaceful rural setting but don't want to get too far away from the civilization. The Mandarin Orchards of Bitez are a protected conservation area where building is strictly limited. The countryside remains a wonderful environment for birds, hedgehogs, tortoises, and squirrels make their homes in the peaceful meadows and the meandering riverbed that leads to the sea. Here also local village life continues much as it has done for decades. Nearby Bitez Beach offers a wide selection of restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes; walk a little way back from the beach to find small teahouses and cafes used by the villagers. For those seeking some action, water sports and sailing are very popular here; an excellent windsurf school and Bodrum Kiteboard School situated on the beach, welcomes both beginners and experienced surfers, while a diving school is located at the harbor offering courses or just a fun beginner’s day. Daily Boat Trips leave from Bitez Harbor. A 12-minute walk through the orchards leads you south to sandy Bitez Beach with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars, as well as shops and stalls selling unique handcrafts. The bay hosts a variety of private beach clubs that charge for the day for those who love electronic music and younger crowds. Head north to explore the old village, where the local weekly farmers’ market boasts a wonderful array of seasonal fruit, vegetables and a sea of spices and nuts. Amongst other well established and much-loved locales, the homemade ice cream shop "Bitez Dondurmacisi" in the heart of the village is not to be missed. There is a new wave of 3rd generation coffee houses, artisan bakery shops and chic restaurants in the recent years where you'll meet the "artsy" and "intellectual" patrons and domestic celebrities that is specific to Bitez in the Bodrum peninsula. Some of the establishments that are in 12-25 minutes walking distance and worth seeing are: Vamos - a chic Mediterranean cuisine serving Pizzeria / Café / Restaurant Hey Joe - 3rd Generation Coffee House Zai - A very interesting establishment that has it all... Restaurant, Music, Theater, Library, Architecture Manuel - Your local value-for- money bar/pub at the center of the village Kruvasan -Delicious croissant, Danish and donuts Kurul Bitez - Turkish Cuisine with awesome decoration The groceries and markets are all within 15 minutes walking distance and the domestic grocery apps such as "Getir" and Yemeksepeti are offering their services to the clients who don't have a car or ambition to walk. The guests who have a car can park their car on the street which always has ample parking places close to the main entrance. The electric scooters and e-bikes are getting more popular by the day. You can always rent an e-scooter with your mobile phone on the go and complete your daily chores in the village with ease. The e-scooters of "Marti" app are very frequent to come by in Bitez. It should take around €3-4 for a half-hour ride which will be enough to take you anywhere within Bitez village or Yali (Beach). The stop to the local public transportation "Dolmus" is 8 min (650m) of walk away. Although they don't have a scheduled line, they pass almost every 5 minutes during the high season. You can take the Dolmus and travel to Bodrum city center in 20 minutes and can use them or other means of the public transportation system such as bus and ferry to nearby locations both within and outside the peninsula. You can always call a cab to the unit though it's hard to get find an available one on Friday and Saturday evenings. The Suite is suitable up to 3 persons, that is 2 adults and 1 child. It is a wonderful opportunity for small families with a child. But the place is too cramped for 3 adults, so unfortunately booking reservations for more than 2 adults will be declined. Guests must walk approximately 60mt through a 2.2mt wide straight greenway between tangerine trees from the main gateway of the lot to the private gate and then some 20 meters to the entrance door of the unit. The total walk -including locking and unlocking the gates - takes approximately 5 min.
