The hut has a private location in the grounds of a country house. Guests can use the owner’s tennis court and heated outdoor pool (open May to end of September). Explore Winchester, Portsmouth, the New Forest and Hampshire’s beaches. This year-round retreat has a heated towel rail, electric radiator and WiFi. The space Once inside the traditionally built shepherd's hut you'll feel you're in a boutique hotel room. The 6ftx5ft bed is made up with a feather duvet and crisp linen, and the en suite shower room has a shower, basin and WC. Plates, pans, cutlery, wine glasses and more are provided in the kitchenette. The double induction hob is easy to use, and there's a microwave, fridge, Nespresso, toaster and kettle. We provide free-range eggs from the field next door (you'll see the chickens that laid them, and the two llamas they live with), milk, wine, tea and coffee pods. Snug and warm inside, the hut is made to a design shepherds of old would recognise, but decidedly contemporary comforts include hot tub, double-glazed windows, internet, and a smart en-suite shower room. An electric radiator and heated towel rail makes the Little Fox Hut a year-round retreat attracting visitors keen to explore the South Downs and Winchester. The Little Fox Hut has a private hot tub and use of a shared pool and tennis court. Tennis balls and racquets are available to borrow. Stay for the Christmas Market, Hat Fair, Farmers’ Market, famous Cathedral, and annual Boomtown Festival. Further afield the Grange Opera, Raimes, Grange and Hattingley vineyards, Portsmouth Historic Harbour, the Bombay Sapphire distillery, the New Forest and the attractions of Goodwood. Guest access Enjoy a drink on your private deck or in your private hot tub. Guests are welcome to explore the owner's large garden, have a swim in the outdoor pool (mid May to late September), and play on the tennis court (racquets and balls provided). The old orchard, where The Little Fox Hut is located, is completely your own, and has parking for up to two cars. Other things to note We have three dogs: mum and daughter Jack Russells and a Labrador. They are friendly, and might say hello, but they know that The Little Fox Hut is not their domain. We also have four young children (also friendly!). A flock of chickens and two llamas live in the field next door.
