Carpenters Yard is a stylish boutique detached cottage in the heart of the Norfolk countryside. Completely renovated to the highest standard, perfect for couples seeking a peaceful village retreat equidistant from the North Norfolk coast and Norwich. Guests can relax in front of the wood burner or soak up the sun in the pretty private garden. Georgian Holt and Marriotts Way cycle path are nearby. With private parking we are perfect for a weekend away or longer stay any time of the year. The space Dating back to the 18th Century when it was built on the site of the village carpenters workshop the building is a grade II listed former coach house. Lovingly renovated in 2022 Carpenters Yard retains many original features, tastefully combined with a light and airy decor in soft neutral tones. Enter through the front door where there is plenty of room in the hall to offload coats and muddy boots. A luxury shower extends the full width of the spacious downstairs bathroom which is fully tiled in beautiful shades of cream and terracotta with a heated towel rail and rustic oak vanity unit. Underfloor heating extends throughout the ground floor and full hight windows fill the space with warmth and light. The warm and cosy living room has log burner (logs are free) chair and comfy sofa that are ideal for sitting back and watching the 43" smart TV with Netflix and Apple TV provided free of charge. A high speed Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the cottage. The fully equipped kitchen-diner has a vaulted ceiling and double doors on to the pretty enclosed private garden, making it beautifully light and airy. The spacious first floor bedroom has a king sized bed with comfy Emma mattress, luxury bed linen, full size mirror, hanging space and drawers for your clothes and a flat screen TV. The dressing table can double up as work desk and a small ensuite conveniently adjoins the room. Guest access Carpenters Yard is accessed through the double gates leading to a pretty courtyard shared with our house. The courtyard provides off-road parking exclusively for our guests' use during their stay. Alternatively there is parking in the road at the front of the property. There is an enclosed private garden to the rear that gets plenty of sun with comfy seating and space for alfresco breakfast or relaxing at the end of the day.
