This 550 square food treehouse cabin is situated on twenty acres surrounded by the beautiful Acadia Cliff Wildlife Preserve. While here, hike around the property, visit the OU campus, surrounding city of Athens, and truly relax. Our sister cabin is located on the property about 130 yards up the road. The space Our guests come from all over to disconnect and relax. Due to the location, there is no phone landline, wifi or cable. We are able to get some TV channels with a TV antenna. We've added a cell phone booster but there is limited cell phone coverage inside the cabin. . Bring your DVD’s, records, games and books to enjoy. A fully furnished kitchen (electric oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee maker) ensures you can have great meals at the cabin if you choose– we find many guests love the grill! Start your morning with our outdoor shower (on the balcony of our loft, 40 feet in the trees) and finish your evening with a fire pit– please bring your own wood, we do have a lighter available to get the fire started! Guest access The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, slow cooker, instant pot, and coffeemaker. The first floor bathroom has a shower with large vanity and we have an outdoor shower on the 2nd floor balcony to enjoy the elevated view. Enjoy the fire pit with benches, we provide the wood and everything is ready for your use. Other things to note -A $55 cleaning fee will be added to the base price. -We recommend you use bottled water for drinking or cooking. We will have a starter supply of water available, but recommend bringing additional water. -We have a 12 cup coffeemaker and provide coffee, filters, creamers and sugar. -We have a DVD player and some DVD's , but you may prefer to bring your own. -We have a new turntable that also has a bluetooth. There is a small collection of albums but feel free to bring your favorites. -We have a second treehouse on the property about 130 yards up the road. If you would like to book both properties for your trip, we will provide a 10% discount per cabin. There may be other renters on the property but they should not interfere with your stay.
