My farm is a 18 acres of field and forest in the rural costal area of Mathews County Va. The normal soundtrack on my property is mostly the wind in the trees, birds chirping, and tree frogs. There is nearly zero light pollution so the stargazing is top notch. From camping in the forest it's a short 1 mile trip to secluded Chesapeake bay beaches. My property and both beaches are dog friendly! Great location for kayakers, fishing, SUP (rental available), cycling, and beach days! The space Camp in the trees with a 6 person suspended hammock tent. The Tentsile trilogy tree tent has 3 separate 2 man tents connected and suspended in secluded pines. Lounge in the tree tent or at the picnic table under a screened in canopy. This site has a large firepit and a semi-private outdoor shower. The site is 1 mile drive to 2 separate secluded beaches and a boat launch. 4 miles from shopping and dining in Mathews Virginia, 15 miles to Gwynn Island. There is a port-a-potty about 75 yards walk from the site. I have a 4' square doggie dome tent to provide acomodation for our K9 guests. Guest access Trilogy is set on a 2.5 acre lot that is mostly wooded. It's a short walk to the port-a-potty and a large field for stargazing, soccer, catch or bike riding. There is a cleared area under the nearby telephone lines that can be used for cornhole or other activities. Other things to note Haven Beach is 1 mile away, Aaron's beach is 1 mile away. Gwen Island is 15 miles away. Explore the Mathews Blueway water trail by kayak. there is a local company that Rents kayaks, delivered to you. There are free to use bicycles, an axe throwing board, and cornhole boards. These items are shared and "first come first served" All guests are welcome to come meet/feed the Guineas and chickens. I'm more than happy to tell you some interesting facts and see if any bird will tolerate being held.
