Novato's Neighborhood Niche*

*Niche (neesh) • noun: an environment that has all the things that a particular person needs in order to live. Welcome to our lovely, quiet neighborhood. Make yourself at home in your spacious room, on a very comfortable bed, with access to the kitchen and other common spaces. The space Your artsy bedroom is the only room on the second floor. Enjoy a peaceful night on the queen-size, memory foam mattress. There is a large desk that faces the backyard garden, an armoire for your clothes, and a collection of games for your enjoyment. There is no door, but the room is visually private (see photos). The carpeted stairs and room provide for a quiet stay. Your bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs and has plenty of towels and supplies for your comfort. Guest access Please feel free to enjoy our kitchen, dining room, living room, and backyard patio and garden (see photos). When they're in season, we'd love to share our homegrown peaches, tomatoes, and other garden goodies with you. If you need to do a load of laundry, there is a washer and dryer available. During your stay We look forward to meeting you. Madeline is a retired elementary school teacher who loves to hike. Mark is a retired custodian from the local high school, and he is an avid golfer. We also enjoy eating out and exploring the beauty and wonders of the North Bay. Just ask, and we'll be happy to help you plan your stay. Other things to note Mark makes a killer cup of coffee, and will have a pot ready every morning. We also have assorted teas available. You will have one flight of stairs to climb to get to your room. When we are home, we watch TV in the evening and sometimes on the weekend days. You are welcome to join us. And, of course, you can watch the TV when we are not watching. When you are in your room, you may hear it very faintly. If it is too loud, please let us know. We usually turn it off around 9:30-10:00. We have two outside security cameras. One or both will be turned on.
