Description

This one-room treehouse is tucked lightly into the woods for a tranquil setting, not far from another treehouse of its kind. The treehouse sits on 40 acres of land, complete with walking/hiking trails to enjoy. On the property is a pond, many fruit trees, chickens, and goats. *electric fencing is LIVE!* The treehouse is spaced out from, but shares land with a renovated barn (used as another lodging accommodation), and a nearby common building that is a shared space for all guests to relax, eat, and attend studio events. The owners live in a separate house on the property with dogs that roam freely. (They are friendly but may bark upon your arrival and come running quickly- they are just wanting to say hi even though it may seem otherwise!) The treehouse includes a lush queen-sized bed, a table with bar stools, a dresser, mini fridge, water dispenser with glassware, and 4 large windows with plush velvet curtains. Heat is available, so as to be enjoyed all year long. The bathroom and shower are located in the common building down a slightly steep gravel walking path (about 160 ft away), which is shared with the other treehouse lodging accommodation. There is no bathroom or running water in the treehouse itself. In the common building ("The Lodge"), there is also a kitchenette for you to use. We have a griddle, outdoor grill, toaster oven, pizza pizzaz, blender, coffee maker and electric kettle for you to use. The oven and stove can be used from 5am-9pm. To use you must turn the hood on. Enter the code provided in the kitchen by pressing- top right button (reset), top left (up), then bottom right (enter) 4x. Then the stove/oven can be used. It will automatically turn off after 2 hours of use. This tree house is dog friendly. We ask that all dogs be leashed when not within a building. There is a $25 pet fee per dog. Cats and other animals are PROHIBITED. Also note that there is a *LIVE* electric fence that surrounds our goats. Goats are natural escape artists and love to explore the property to eat trees and more grass. You may see them running around or taking an afternoon nap on the hill, outside of their fenced in area. Laundry units are available in the lodge. Please prepare to bring your own detergent, if you should need to use them. Please note that there is no cell phone service on the property. Be sure to turn on your WiFi calling PRIOR to arriving (while in cell range) so that you are able to make phone calls and text while here. The property is in the woods rustic woods of Vermont, amongst all of its seasons. Please note that we do our best to maintain the property as weather arises, but the walkways, some of which are a bit steep, may be snowy, icy or otherwise. Please come prepared with a vehicle and shoes that are suited for the season of your arrival (mud, snow and ice) for both our property and the town road we live on. Checking in during daylight hours is advised.
