If you are not coming by car or two-wheeler, it is advisable to book a taxi or two-wheeler in advance. We offer meals (chargeable). The space 🌿 The Space Tucked away in the embrace of a quiet mountain forest. Our homestay provides a peaceful and nature-filled retreat. The only sounds that might stir your rest are the sweet calls of birds and the rustle of forest leaves. This is a place where nature lives around you — and sometimes, with you. Two cozy rooms, a large kitchen with sweeping views of the forest, and a separate washroom for added privacy. Wide windows invite golden sunrays into your room every morning, creating a perfect setting for sunrise lovers. 🌿 Important Considerations Before Booking 1) Location, Access & Parking We’re located at the top of Tapovan, near Amaya Resort. The road loops through the hills (approx. 17 km or 35 mins), offering scenic valley views of Rishikesh. The final 2.5 km village road includes a short 400-meter unpaved patch — a small adventure, yet completely safe to drive. You'll park your vehicle in a secure open space, followed by an easy 120-meter walk to the house. This place is ideal for those who love nature, mountain drives, and a touch of adventure. If you're comfortable driving in the hills, you’ll enjoy every turn. 2) Forest Hike Prefer trekking? Reach us via a beautiful 2–2.5 km forest trail from Tapovan — perfect for those who enjoy hiking and connecting with nature on foot. 3) Wildlife You’ll be living alongside nature. Birds, deer, and other forest creatures share the space, though it’s completely safe. Our caretaker is present to ensure your comfort. We also have a small farm with Kadaknath chickens that guests often love visiting. You can get fresh eggs from there. 4) Arrival Timing We recommend arriving before dark, though it’s safe to reach even in the evening. The calm of the night here is worth experiencing. 🍲 Food Options We offer three flexible options: 1️⃣ Self-Cooking – Bring your groceries and use our fully-equipped kitchen. 2️⃣ Cook with Your Groceries – Our local cook can prepare your meals. 3️⃣ Homemade Meals – We offer simple, soulful homemade meals. Please inform us in advance. Let us know about any special food requests at least 24 hours ahead. 💧 Water & Utilities -Fresh mountain water, safe for drinking (stored in copper jars). -Reliable electricity with backup in case of power cuts. -Jio and Airtel networks work well at the house. -WiFi available (~8 Mbps) — enough for work, calls, and streaming. -Complimentary tea, spices, and basic cooking items are available. -Guests are expected to keep the kitchen clean after use.
