The Caldwell House is located in the heart of the lower Hudson Valley near West Point, Storm King Art Center, Brotherhood Winery and the Woodbury Common. Named for the historic Moodna Creek, which adjoins our property and meanders its way throughout Orange County before finally finding its way into the Hudson River, this sun-filled room with its soft green walls offers you a cozy and romantic atmosphere. The Moodna Room was recently refurnished and a new white wrought iron queen-sized bed, an antique armoire and dresser, and two Queen Anne chairs were added. There is also a cute, elevated electric fireplace that provides warmth and ambiance. The private en-suite bathroom has a shower. Start your day with a wonderful three-course breakfast served right out of the oven by Dena. Explore the Hudson Valley during the day, and in the evenings, wind down in the blissful comfort of your room. In between, enjoy all the Caldwell House Bed and Breakfast grounds have to offer – walk down to the creek, stroll the gardens, or relax on the front porch or side hammock. The space Each room at the Caldwell House, which was recently named a Top 25 B&B in the USA, has been professionally inspected and is kept in immaculate condition.
