The "Mescladis", an unusual group gîte

Playful and friendly, this cottage is ideal for reunions for a weekend or for vacations with family or friends. Located in Aveyron, in a charming quiet village, it is close to all amenities. Swimming, walks and sports in nature, museums, animal parks... there are activities for everyone! It is also suitable for organizing courses (yoga, dance, theater, artists' residence...) thanks to its modular living room of 50 square meters. The space The Maison Mescladis is the meeting of 2 cottages located in the same place, on our property. We live with our 2 children in the part on the right in the cover photo. The unusual "La Grange" vacation rental is therefore the leftmost part (old barn as its name indicates) and the "Atelier" vacation rental (old carpenter's workshop) is located between the 2. The "Atelier" gîte includes a separate bedroom (the Arabesque), an open bedroom in the mezzanine (the "cabin") which must be accessed by a ladder, a living room/kitchen as well as a bathroom/toilet). The "Grange" cottage includes a bedroom with a bathroom on the ground floor and 3 sleeping areas which are accessed by ladders. It also includes a shared bathroom, with a stretched net and 2 hammocks on the mezzanine. The 50-square-meter living room includes the open kitchen and can be modulated to free up space. Firewood is to be paid at the end of the stay in proportion to your use at the price of 80 euros/stère. Note that during the winter period, there are variations in temperature depending on the distance from the stove, remember to take your ponchos for a cozy moment by the fire! Optionally payable on site: If you don't want to do the cleaning, you can ask us for it as an option (150 euros), otherwise, all the equipment is available to you. If you do not want to bring your bed linen, we will set you up with everything at 15 euros/sleeps, otherwise, remember to take a mattress cover and pillowcase + duvet or duvet cover. If you don't want to bring tea towels, bath mats, towels, we prepare all this for 10 euros/person. Guest access The outdoors are to be shared with us and our children in a spirit of simplicity, friendliness and respect of course! :) However, we respect everyone's privacy and the space is large enough to enjoy meals without overcrowding (two separate garden spaces). Other things to note We love conviviality and parties, however, alcohol is to be consumed with relative moderation (to be clear, drinking with total loss of notions of responsibility and control of one's actions is not welcome). Smokers are asked to smoke outside the buildings and put their butts in ashtrays.
