Our guesthouse is nestled in the Lemon Faire River Valley. This 1 bedroom with kitchen, bathroom, and extra sleeping loft gives you a quiet experience of the Vermont countryside. The outside entry deck overlooks over a 1000 acres of open field and farmland. Middlebury is only 3 miles away and offers museums, restaurants, and shopping. This is an active farm: horses, dogs, geese, a duck, and chickens. Please read the house manual as it has lots more information about the house and property. The space Hiking on private land 400 acres of open fields and woods with an abundance of wildlife: Deer, Turkeys, Fox, Falcon, Canada Geese (no hunting, wild life watch only). Very secure, private setting Guest access Please ask us if you want to visit the animals, fences are hot. Don’t wonder to the barns without us. We are happy to show you around. Other things to note Winter in Vermont: please come with a car that is suitable for winter driving. AWD or 4WD are a must and winter tires are recommended. Power outages in Vermont: We have a generator on the farm that will supply 24 hour emergency back up for the whole property. We respect your privacy, please respect ours as well. We live on the property, our animals (cats, dogs, chickens and geese) are free to be outside. Please drive slowly when coming on to the drive way, some animals might not hear you come. Please NO additional guests without prior authorization. If you have a dinner and you want to invite friends or family over - please let us know before you invite them. We practice pest control regularly. Due to the location of our guesthouse it's inevitable that spiders, mosquitoes, mice, etc are living on the farm. We do our best to keep them out but are not always successful. We apologize in advance, please let us know if you have any sightings and we will try to help.
