Charming 1920’s bungalow on quiet cul-de-sac in Beachwood Canyon. House is light and comfortable with outdoor spaces for dining and barbecuing. Perfect stay for a group of friends or family. Walking distance to cafe & market (4 mins), fun local bars & restaurants (15 mins), and amazing hikes in the hills up to the Hollywood Sign (45 mins). And a 10 min drive to Universal Studios! Note: the house is not child-proofed for crawling infants or roaming toddlers and therefore not recommended. The space Charming 1920’s bungalow on quiet cul-de-sac in Beachwood Canyon. House is light, casual and comfortable. Windows are open for a calm breeze throughout the house, and you'll only hear birds and the rustling of the trees outside. Outdoor spaces are perfect for morning coffee, afternoon wine, dining, barbecuing or just enjoying the peacefulness of the hills. The gardens and patios are filled with Mediterranean plants, bougainvillea, and succulents, with trees lining the back hillside. House main level ("upstairs") has living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath, one private bedroom, and a separate room with double bed sleeper sofa (note: upstairs bathroom entrance is through the room with sleeper sofa). A winding staircase takes you down to a large loft style room with two queen beds and it’s own full bathroom. House is equipped with a washer/dryer, high-speed wireless internet, HD cable TV (HBO, Showtime, etc), and filtered drinking water. Note: there is NO A.C., but house stays cool with open windows or has fans for extra hot days. (I’ve only needed fans about 10 days in a year). Leaving the back door open keeps nice breeze flowing through the house. Note: the house is not child-proofed for crawling infants or roaming toddlers and therefore not recommended. The downward spiral staircase has a precarious drop and the windows in the living room and bedroom are 1.5' from the ground and therefore dangerous for small children if open. Guest access I will provide front door lock code information to get into the house for flexibility in check in times. Other things to note This is a quiet residential area, so must keep noise/music to a minimum. Do not use the indoor or outdoor fire places. There is a driveway to park one car as well as unrestricted street parking for other cars. Weekend day street parking can fill up due to Hollywood Sign hiker parking. Registration Details HSR22-003533
