Utterly secluded, the Gullhouse reveals the rugged rocks, endless ocean, graceful birds, playful whales, seals, and the mesmerizing surf. Eagles soar above the rocks in our view, while these same rocks offer respite to migrating pelicans and roosting cormorants and seagulls. At low tide, you'll see some of Oregon's most captivating tide pools, teeming with marine life. Whales spout in the distance, our guests often find themselves enchanted for hours. The Gullhouse's ambiance has a profound way of instilling a deep sense of awe and appreciation for nature. We've taken care of every detail The kitchen is well-equipped with spices and condiments, while guest spa/bathrobes, binoculars, and an ocean-view hot tub complete your experience. The tide pools across the street draw visitors from around the globe, and there are miles of sandy beach to explore, stretching from our area down to the Waldport bridge, approximately 5 miles away. The quaint town of Seal Rock is within walking distance (1/4 mile) where you will find eateries: Indulge (fabulous ice cream shop and home of the Evil Brownie) and LunaSea the seafood restaurant. We do not have beach access, however there are 5 Oregon State Parks within a 5 mile radius where you can park your car and access the beach. Oregon has legalized recreational marijuana use, but it is not legal to use it in public. You are welcome to take advantage of the privacy of the yard/garden, but please do not use in the house. We want you to enjoy the space we have provided for you, relax, and have a good time! This is not an ideal property for motorcycle travel. Our road and driveway is gravel and hilly. Please note that others traveling on motorcycles have found access to the Gullhouse difficult. No vehicles other than standard cars and trucks without permission.
