Guests are invited to enjoy exclusive access to the homeowner's beautiful private swimming pool, just a short walk or drive from the cabin. The home has fast wifi, a fully stocked kitchen and laundry room. You won't want to leave! (pool typically available May 1st - Sept 2nd) Winingham Farm and Cabin sits on several secluded acres with pastoral vistas. Enjoy complete privacy as no other homes are visible from the grounds, offering a serene retreat into nature. Relax by the firepit under the starry sky, with firewood provided for cozy evenings outdoors. One of the home's standout features is its expansive porches, both screened and open, wrapping around the entire home, inviting you to unwind and soak in the beauty of your surroundings. Venture upstairs to discover two bedrooms situated at either end of a stunning loft space. Despite being connected by a wide open-air hallway with tall ceilings, each bedroom exudes its own sense of coziness and independence. To reach this hidden gem, simply turn left at the 4-way stop in Orlinda and travel 4 tenths of a mile to our small paved road on the left. When on our road, keep an eye out for the mighty working windmill, a hallmark of the property, spinning in the breeze generated by the nearby Red River valley. Once you spot the windmill, you've arrived at your destination. Immerse yourself in the living history of the area, with the home adorned with artwork by noted local painters and custom repurposed architectural elements sourced from nearby. During your stay, enjoy private access to a beautiful swimming pool which is available through your host, Debbie. The pool is located approximately 1/8th mi from your home. A short walk or drive. Exclusively for Winingham Farm guests, the pool also features a convenient restroom and changing room for your comfort. Plenty of parking for any kind of vehicle. We welcome furry companions at Winingham Farm with a $40 pet fee. We're pleased to accommodate up to two small (up to 25lbs) well-trained dogs over 2 years of age. To ensure their comfort, please provide their own bedding as they are not permitted on beds or furniture. Please do not wash your dog in the bathtub. If we determine that you have bathed your dog in the tub you may be charged an additional cleaning fee and/or plumbing fee as needed. For the safety and well-being of your pets, kindly refrain from leaving them unattended in the home unless they are securely placed in a carrier. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate cats at this time. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a comfortable and pet-friendly environment for all guests.
